    Hi all,

Hope you are well, i am new to UK Brides and looking for some help.

My partner and I are finally getting round to getting married 6 and a half years and one 3 year old later but we have quite a small budget.

I am aware of nice function rooms you can book for private parties for free, as them selling drinks at the bar brings them in plenty of money.

Is anyone aware of anywhere in the Midlands that offer this?

    Kelly

Try local pubs that have a function room or maybe find out if anyone is on a comitee of a club i.e bowling club things like that because they might be able to get it for free for you. Thats how we got our reception venue at a local bowling club. xx

Village halls can also be rather good for a venue. Not all of them charge you lots of money either. You could also ask friends and family if they know anyone who has a large garden and a marquee. I know some people book a resturant for the evening. You could always ask your guests to pay for their own meal. It means that they get to choose what they want to eat as well.

Hi Kelly firstly may i say congrats and welcome (although ukbrideS is a different site :-) we are uk BRIDE hehehe)

Ive not heard of anywhere where they hire out for free?? Some hire cheaper if you use the bar pervided but its rare to hire places for free when weddings are involved :-(

Hope someone can help you tho, good luck :-)

Addict? I've only been on here for hours every since I joined up. That doesn't make me an addict lol
