We had our tasting session with our reception venue last night and really pleased, all was delish!! Just wondering whether you think its a good price?

    We have:
    Glass of prosecco on arival
Starter - Choice of 4 for each guest
    Lemon and Gin Sorbet
Main - Choice of 4 for each guest
Dessert - Choice of 4 for each guest
    Tea or Coffee
    Glass of Prosecco for toast

    All for £42.50 a head

    Then evening buffet is £460

Im thinking its pretty good? What is everyone else paying?

Does each guest get to choose from 4 options? If so that's really good. Alot of venues I've seen charge up to £50 a head just for food where you have to pick the choice for all your guests! Especially as that also includes arrival and toast drinks.

that is an excellent price. wish i could have got a deal like that.

my venue were quoting £75 head and they didnt have a choice.

now they are doing a special deal which is £2011 which inlcludes set meal that we chose for up to 70 guests and a few other things aswell.

well done on getting that deal!
    xx

thats a good price, because we are having 200 guests during the day we just couldnt afford that, so instead we are having hot beef dips or roast pork and stuffing sandwiches with roasties and thats only £2.50 per head and £1.95 per drink xx

Yes thats a good price, mine is £32 a head, which includes arrival drinks, 3 course meal, half a bottle of wine per person, champagne for the speeches and our room for the night, the evening buffett is £5.50 per head, but guests dont get to choose what they are eating, i have had to do that, so there may be a few unhappy guests!!!

That is good. The original venue we were looking at was £90 per head, which is waaaay too much. Now we are doing it ourselves through h2b work, so paying about £500 for posh buffet for 70 guests, just have to buy some wine for the tables/toasts which should be around £100, so a lot happier with that now. xx

That is a good price we are paying

    £56 per person for:
    Glass of wine on arrival
Two glasses of wine with dinner
    Starter
    Main
    Dessert
    Glass to toast
    Tea,coffee, chocs

£15 per person for evening buffet.

This does however include our room hire, flowers for the venue, room for the night, toastmaster Dj etc. It should be £70 per person but we got 20% discount for having our wedding in Sept. Children are £25 each. I didn't think it was too bad though to say its a country house hotel in stunning grounds etc.
