I have a few things I need to know..... Chair covers and sashes.... If i have 50 guests for the ceromony and day time, do i need 100 chair covers? or are they moved from the ceromony room onto the chairs where the food will be served??

And do they stay for the evening reception? Do most people have balloons for the evening? What rae you having? xx

I am having 90 chair covers and sashes, and they will be set out in an 'aisle' style for the ceremony - and then when we have our sparkly wine and photo's taken, the staff re-set the room into our reception, with the tables and same chairs for guests.... are you having the same room for your ceremony and reception? if not i THINK the venue would move the chairs to your chosen reception room. If i were you tho hun, just double check with your venue. xxxxx

sorry - yes they do stay for evening reception, but perhaps move them round or remove just a few to make way for a dancefloor depending on the layout of your room :) i am not having balloons, there is no you should have balloons - thats a personal choice - if you want em!...have em! :)
I am making my own cernte pieces of birdcages and flowers - with little fairy lights, so will look really pretty when the lights go down for the evening do xxxx

I'm not having chair covers...or chairs for that matter, but I'd say its best to ask your venue? Are the ceremony and wedding breakfast in the same room? I've not been to a wedding where the chair covers were kept for the evening. xx

We are having 30 to the ceremony and for the night we are having over 100 so we just got the company to dress 60 chairs altogether so for the night the tables dont look bare and the "special alldayers" dont have all the good stuff lol

Its the evning im more worried about as there will be 150 people so do i need to buy 100 more chair covers to accomidate them or just ditch them altogether, and im worried the centre pieces will get damaged so come night time so i might ditch them too and get baloons, cant help feel a bit tacky about baloons though xx

I won't have chair covers so can't comment on this.
No balloons here - different deco. The possibilities are endless! Why are you worried centerpieces will get damaged?

I woulnt bother getting chair covers or centre pieces for the evening, it will be darkish and if you are having a DJ the lights will change the colour of everything. Get the meal looking great, the evening should take care of itself, and most of the all dayers will be tipsy by then x

we're having covers for the chairs in our ceremony room and while were having piccies and drinks they're moving them through to our reception room. This was their suggestion to us :) Unfortunately they're not included so have been hunting around, cheapest I've found near me are £2.75 each x

were not having chair covers, decided not to bother although ive spent a small fortune on loads of rose garland, all i need is my candle jars. as for my venue while were doing piccies they will move the chairs tot he meal tables and while we are eating they are going to be setting up the rest of the evening tables where they will have some scented candle and cake pop trees. i wanted balloons but cos of sil and her "phobia" i decided not to bother saves time and hoping she wont kick off!!! xxx

Iam having the chair covers for the 70 guests we have coming to the ceremony and wedding breakfast and candelabra's on a mirror plate table centres and crystals on the table, then for the evening we are not providing more chair covers but the room will be set out that every other chair has a chair cover, i have been to weddings where this has been done before and it didnt look silly. We are having colour co ordinated balloons on the tables for the evening and the crystals on the tables.

i'm having chair covers for day time only..

And ive decided upon mainly t-lights on mirrors for centrepieces for night instead of dreaded balloons!

I love kids but the last few weddings i've been too, the children have taken all the balloons off the tables and shoved them on the dance floor, or even worse bluddy popped em! (same kids will be at my wedding)
