We have received a quote for car hire.

2 BMW 7 series and an 8 seater mini bus.

We have been quoted £1150 to have them from 10am till 7pm.

We would still need to put on a bigger bus for people getting home after the reception on top of this.

I was quoted £550 for a flying spur and £450 for every other car including a BMW and Merc both long wheel base, that was just for picking me and the bridesmaids up and dropping them at the venue!!!! xx

We will have these from 10am till 7pm, he usually charges £600 per car and £750 for the bus but they usually only do 5hours rather than the 9 hes offered then hes taken £800 off the price.

We are still looking around as we still need to get a coach for night time for to get people home

Do you really need the cars for all that time?
    That'll help cut the cost.
Is your venue far away from where most of guests live?

Yeh the venue is in the middle of no where,
We could maybe get the cars for a shorter time but we will need them for getting from my parents to the church then from the church to the photo location and from photo location to the reception venue.

My friend has just had her wedding, with the same challenging logistics.
She hired a coach for the guests, BMs etc from the reception venue to church to the photo location and back to the venue.
It was all so easy for us.
She used a rolls royce to get to the church and then she and her husband went to the photo location and reception venue in it.
Good luck getting everything sorted! I'm so pleased everything is in one place for us.

We were thinking the two cars could get H2B and guys down to the church while we finish off getting ready and i put on the dress.

then the cars come back for bridesmaids in one and me and dad in the other,

mini bus and cars can then take people to photo location (or we can walk its only maybe a 5min walk away!) obviously ill take the car there lol!
and then mini bus and cars take the guests to the reception venue while we finish off photo shoots and the cars can come back for us!

It does seem really expensive at first but when you look at the length of time you need them for, can your guests get a taxi home at night?

From what i can remember there are only two taxi services and they never answer their phones and take hours to pick you up!
plus it will cost them all over £60. This place is out the way lol so i will def have to put on a larger bus at night.

I deffo think this is way overpriced. If you contact a little independant bus company, you would get it for around £200, and I woudn't expect to pay so much for BMWs, I'd def shop around hunni

We are planning on it, it is our first quote,
Was planning on telling other companies what we wanted and that this was what we have been quoted so far to see if they will def give us something cheaper!
