We're having Diamonds on the soles o0f her Shoes by Paul Simon for my entrance and our exit. The beginning part is slow and soft, then there's a tiny pause and it becomes upbeat and happy. We're going to time it just right, and this way we don't have to pick two songs! My mum's just told me that I need a song for signing the register - is that right?

MelG you star! I love Paul Simon, but I can't get past the giggle factor of "50 ways to leave your lover"

We have been told if you are having a civil ceremony you need one for your guests being seated, one for bride coming in, one for signing the register and one for the happy couple leaving the ceremony. We are having Greenday - Time Of Your Life (Guests Coming In), Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This (Bride Coming In), All For One - I Swear (Signing The Register). I am actually leaning towards Shanias Twain - From This Moment On for leaving ceremony. x

We are lucky, the music director at our Church is around our age and suggests we load all our music onto an Ipod. The Church has speakers and an Ipod dock. He suggest we have:
Prelude 30 mins (theres abouts) music while guests arrive and are seated
Processional Entrance song
Interlude Song or songs for guests to listen to while you sign the register.
Recessional Upbeat/jubilant music for leaving the Church
A further 1 or 2 songs while guests filter out of the Church.
For the prelude music we are picking our favourite songs and a few songs that family would have liked but are no longer with us. xx
I have a gorgeous husband!
2 brilliant wonderful boys, a wonderful life
in Cornwall. Happiest woman ever!
Now making our house a home. Blessing 2014.

We are having "You've got a friend in me" from Toy Story - its just a cute song and the words are appropriate!

lol I was just considering that MrsHoward2B, my little boy is watching it and my other half always sings along :)
.."She'll promise you more than the Garden of Eden
Then she'll carelessly cut you and laugh while your bleeding
But she'll bring out the best and the worst you can be
Blame it all on yourself 'cos she's always a woman to me.."
