This past week has been very trying for H2B at work; he works for his dad. Tuesday night he didn't get home untill 11.45pm then the next day he didn't get home until nearly 10pm. Bear in mind he HAS NOT been paid any more for these late nights. Thursday it has all come to ahead; H2B and his dad had a major arguement. BIL2B broke a stone pannel which meant the had to get another and FIL2B started shouting at H2B so H2B slammed the hone down.
Later, back at the shop FIL2B started at him again and a huge row broke out and he has told H2B more or less that he doesn't want him working for him anymore; told him to find another job. I dont understand why he has done this, its his busy period at work and H2B is his only gas fitter. No other fitter would stay until 11.45 at night they would have gone home at 5pm.
BIL2B is the cause of most the arguement. They are late everyday for work because BIL2B doesn't get out of bed till H2B gets to his house and then he gets dressed and has breakfast while H2B is sat waiting in the van. H2B has tired ringing him 30 mins early but he still stays in bed till H2B gets there. BIL2B is suppose to help H2B and learn as his apprentis but all he does is sit in the van while at jobs and listens to music and texts people. So as a result these two have had a row and BIL2B stormed off at the job and went AWOL.
I hope this makes sence. I am so worried because if mark is out of a job then we a in trouble then the wedding wont get paid for, xmas holidays will be cancelled and the honey moon will need to be cancelled. I just dont understand what is going on H2B isn't telling me much and when I ask he snaps and says he doesn't want to talk about it. Im so worried at the min, last time he was out the a job he ended up drinking himself into £2000 worth of debt which we still paying off. Its fair to say I did not sleep well last night

Not good. maybe you H2B could go and pick your bil2b up earlier, not ideal i know but might stop that part. As for the rows its probably because everyone is stressed, you'll probably find it was just a heat of the moment thing and theres nothing to worry about. fingers crossed.

oh hun, dont really know what advice to give but didnt want to read and run. from past experience family working together never works out, my brother used to work for my dad, they had a falling out over work and now have not seen each other or spoken to each other for 8 months.

H2B has threatend to leave many times but has never actually taken steps to get a new job.... He has rang up 3 jobs and is awaiting for a reply...

Oh dear what an awful situation for you. Could your H2B and your FIL2B sit down and talk about the situation once things have calmed down? Does your FIL2B know about your BIL2B's bad habits? I hope things work out for you both.. best of luck and wishes xx

I know its not great circumstances but it may just be the break h2b needed - hopefully he will find a job that values him and pays better - its often risky working with family, particularly if you are not getting treated fairly and its not fair given how hard he's been working that everything is getting blamed on him - and was it your h2b who had the accident at work because his dad was making him do things in the dark? Fingers crossed something better comes up

its always hard to work with family, and these things are bound to happen - surely h2b's father wouldnt have him out of a job when he knows your getting married???? hope things work out for the best x

Thats right nic he was made to go up on to a roof in th dark and ended up in A&E.
We havn't heard anything off FIL2B this weekend but we will see whats happens after the Man City match, he does usually ring after football.
FIL2B knows about BIL2B bad habit but it doesn't make a difference, Mark get's hassel told he should manage him better lol I was never awear mark was a manager.... certainly not getting a managers pay lol.
He has applied for 2 jobs and is awaiting for a call back. Only problem with these jobs are H2B will need a van and the van he has is his dad's and some of the tools he has his dad will take back off him. I can see our saving being used for him to start a new job...
