hey ladies. i really should know this as i used to work for a travel company, but hey ho lol. we've seen a holiday on the net thats a brilliant price for an all inclusive 2 week holiday thats an adult only. thing is we havent budgeted for the honeymoon as that is what we're asking for for wedding presents. travel vouchers or money. well last time we went on hol the money had to be paid in full at least 7-14 weeks before depending on whether it short or long haul. well 14 weeks after our wedding is december and also we went to cuba in december last yr and it was still fab, h2b wants to go earlier in the September. now iv explained to him we cant do that but he dont seem to be able to get it through his bloody head. anyone know if they give any le way for honeymooners? x

holidays do need to be booked quite a few weeks in advance but you can also book the same holiday a day or longer in advance so long as they av the availability, if its on the net and a brilliant price then its not gona stay around for long ur only option is t see if you could borrow the money then pay it back with the money from what you recieve as gifts. x

If you book a last minute holiday & i mean LAST minute you can get for half the original price, sometimes less.
my mum goes abroad 3times a year and usually books a week before as they are sold of so cheap

long haul you can book up to 6 weeks before! But some travel companies have cottoned on now and actually charge more than if you had booked it a year in advance (I was told this by a travel agent who is a friend!) unfortunately, unless you do a last minute one, they will want the full payment in advance! Is there no way you could borrow it from a family member or pop it on a credit card and pay it back/off after the wedding when you have the money? xx

Not if you could get a 0% interest one, loads of places are doing them atm for 0% for 18 months, which would mean you have time to pay it off before you get any interest added on xx

it would diffinetly be paid before then. like i said thats what we're asking for for wedding presents so we'll be able to pay that more or less straight after the wedding which is 15 months away :) x

Cape verde is a short flight it's only 4 or 5 hours so you wouldn't even get food lol.
We are going to be doing the same but will be putting our ref number on our save the dates and also with our invite and ask people to go into the travel company and pay what ever they want by a certain date and after that just cheques or money. We have spoken to most of our guests about this and everyone is happy to do that. This would be better as what ever is left we can pay or you can upgrade your flights or even your hotel room.

we havent sent out save the dates. no point really everyone knows the date cause its my nan and granddads wedding anniversary but thats a brill idea about putting it on the invites. we went to the travel agents and saw another one for mexico, adult only, 24hr all invlusive, swim up bar and 5*, also including the flight on the new dreamliner. but its for £2788 for the both of us. not sure if thats too much?! x

That's not too bad for a swim up as well. Are you getting married in August/September You have to be careful with Mexico as its the rainy season then. We went at the start of September and it did rain for the last 4-5 days but it was still very hot we just went to the water parks to swim with the rays brilliant experience and we also swam with the turtles.

I really want to go back to Mexico but there are too many places in the world to see. If you can go to mexico I would go and maybe upgrade your flight as its 10 hour flight.

Could you put on my wall the place so I can show my H2B.

yea course. u want the hotel or the whole holiday?
the flight is on the new dreamliner so...how can i put it ...the premier seats on a normal plane is basically the economy seats on the dreamliner.
we went to Cuba in December last yr and it rained a few times then. i know what u mean about to many places to see. iv been to most placed and lived there too lol, but never been to mexico.
also getting married in august x

The hotel if you dont mind thank you. My Friend works for a well known company and is going to try to book us flights for business class for £200 so I dont mind paying a bit more for the hotel.

The deamliner looks really nice and the extra ££ isnt as much as what i thought it was going to be.

Were getting married at the end of September so hopefully it shouldnt rain when we go.

Mexico is lush I can recommend one if you wanted to have a look at it.
