Hi all, our wedding singer is asking us for our first dance song as we were supposed to have told him by now, but we can't decide!! We have a few ideas but just cannot find one that suits. I love country music and he likes a couple of them but we can't actually pick one. So far we've narrowed it down to: Brad Paisley-Little Moments Adele-One and Only Cat Stevens-Hard Headed Woman Brad Paisley-She's Everything Rascal Flatts-a few of them are good , My wish....You and I wont let go

At the end of the day, I don't think we could help you, its a choice yourself and H2B need to make. I always look at the lyrics of the song and see if they are relevant. I am unsure of those lyrics without looking though. When we picked ours, we had no real song that meant a lot to either of us apart from Snow Patrol, Chasing Cars, which only because it reminded me of hubby and it was my ring tone for him on my phone. We then went to his brother's wedding and hey presto what was theirs??? We had a few in mind after that, but went for the lyrics really more than anything.

I would listen to them all maybe not same day and see if any particular makes you smile more or suddenly means more about you and your partner :)

We're going to pick tonight, I always listen to the lyrics of a song and just think all of these ones are so amazingly gorgeous. My H2B is not big on country music and actually loves his rock/rave lol. We couldn't be more different really. But he likes the odd country song, or at least songs that are anything but rave which I can't stand. I've talked im into helping me decide tonight though

I've just emailed our band about our first dance choice as we're not sure if they can do it vocals wise... we have two options though, so if they can't do one-we have a safer option which we are equally happy with.

I know the Brad Paisley Shes Everything one but not so sure on the others. As everyone says, its your choice. Perhaps put them on a CD randomly with other songs and listen to them in the car or something and see what makes you smile. Good luck x

Yes, thanks ladies. We finally picked Brad Paisley - Little Moments, my H2B said its the one that most made him think of me and me and him together :) So I've text our singer and let him know. I threw in a couple of Shania Twain ones but my H2B said he can't stand her songs as she's one of his mam's favourite singers so he had to listen to her a lot growing up....funnily enough she's one of my favourite singers. The others are going on our list of songs we would like playing at some point through the day/night.
