I hope they did something as a gesture of apology...I fully understand why you wouldn't want your wedding there though!

Wow! Well done on getting it published by the Daily Mail. Some people think they are much more important than they actually are and need to be taken down a peg or two. I hope she loses her job!
CommentAuthorLoz K
Well done you for getting it out there! I've just watched you on Daybreak too!! Stick it to 'em!
OMG!! Just come across this, can't believe how rude and unprofessional they were. Well done for sticking up for yourself and going public. If they can be this unprofessional when dealing with potential clients then I hate to think how your wedding day would turn out xx

Good for you although the daily mail have now entered that your profession is an adult tv glamour model. If there is any truth in that do you think that is why they turned you down?

Soory ut the fact your a TV glamour model has no basis on ANYTHING!!1 So what?? They say they didnt even know and to be fair unless she researches every enquiry she has or watches you ;-) how would she know what your job is unless you told her? And like I said even if you are AND?? If you can afford to get married there then why not???

Grrr i typed out a reply but it didnt post.
Hold your head high no matter what angles they start working this from. You're as entitled to marry there as anyone else. I mean if this IS the reason she's deemed you "undesireable" is she honestly trying to say iff Katie Price or the likes enquired she would knock them back? I highly doubt it. Your life is none of her business

I read the newspaper article and must say that you came across really well!!! I can't believe that people judge on the grounds of an eyebrow piercing. My fella has one and does not mean that we are rough either.
I hope that they lose out on a lot of potential business on the back of your feature x

They deserve what they get, noone has any right to speak about you like that, especially not to your face. The wedding coordinator will have a major red face now!!

You were amazing!! You came across like such a lovely couple on the clip I saw on ITV news. Well done for getting it to so many places! You should be very proud to have stood your corner! And well done to your H2B - I loved the bit when he said they'd said you could have the wedding there but we was like "nope" ! That wedding co-ordinator must be dying!! They showed a picture of her on the clip I saw! Proper named and shamed!

thats awful! but as you say makes you think, what do all of the venues say, its unfortunate for them they let you in on what they thought! And she says such a thing about you, without actually having met you, baring in mind she works in a hotel......not saying theres anything wrong with that, but for all she knows you could be a multi multi millionaire!!!!
CommentAuthorAimeeH1808
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! How DARE she!!! Just seen your report on itv news. Good on ya. They never deserve any business from anyone ever again!!!!!!
CommentAuthormym72
I read your post on here a few months ago - and no, she shouldn't have done that (or made the mistake of you finding out) - but I honestly believe this type of thing goes on all the time, behind closed doors. It's just that this woman made the mistake of sending you this information.
I'm not condoning what she did - but let's be honest here - she's just one wedding co-ordinator that has been caught out. I can understand venues wanting to pick and choose to a certain extent to who has their wedding/party there, as no venue would want to hire out their property and services to anyone that's going to trash the place after a few drinks, or lead them on so that they missed out on genuine bookings, then couldn't pay. She should've met with you first but hopefully you've got another venue now so move forward and enjoy planning your special day x
CommentAuthorMrs P*R*C*2013
Wow ladies, thank you so much for all your support!
It's all gone a little crazy now considering it started off with me innocently sending in the story to a woman's weekly!
Unfortunately, the press being the press have gone off on a tangent, but heyho, there will be new stories to tell soon...
The story is out there now & hopefully it's highlighted what may happen on a regular basis. Now if the press will allow I can get on with planning my wedding with the help of some of you lovely ladies :) xx
CommentAuthormym72
Just reading the Telegraph article and it says that you're now taking legal action. Surely by doing that you're not going to be able to get on with planning your wedding without the media getting involved again..?? It hasn't been a nice situation but surely all you want now is to get back to normal.? Is it true she'd actually met with you before the email as well?
CommentAuthorVintageChic
Yes Mym she had a quick 10 minute meeting with them the day before the email was sent as far as I'm aware.
And I think the legal proceedings had been started before the media caught wind of the story and got carried away with it, hopefully for Pauline's sake they'll lose interest and leave her in peace to plan :)

Just to clarify ladies, I am not attempting legal action against Stoke Park, I merely wished to highlight their indiscretion, which I think you'll agree has been sufficiently covered in the press.
I had met with the coordinator prior to the email being sent, but as you have seen in the papers it wasn't meant to be...
The papers like to play on words unfortunately :( xx
CommentAuthorMichelleR969
OMG~~~Really disgusting! Why her name is Michelle?(just hate~) Good luck to you!
CommentAuthorlala "mod" bunni
Can i just say you presented you self very well in your interview on daybreak ... you have more class than the staff at Stoke park
Hey at the end of the day I suppose you get the last laugh - as you can afford a nice wedding now with all the interviews and publicity you've had lol. I suppose the downside going to the press is that they dig into your background as well - typical tabloids lol.
CommentAuthorstarbabe78

I've read a couple of things in the newspapers but not seen any tele interviews. I hope you are coping ok and we are here if you get down and need a chat. Papers will always dig at things and try to make things seem worse than they are. Keep your head up high and forget about the stupid wedding planner!! Xx
CommentAuthorLauraJo87
Blooming heck, what job you do is totally irrelevant! You were treated appallingly by them...stupid tabloids.

I think how much pauline makes out of the interviews is totally irrelevant and none of anyone elses business! Well done you for shedding light on the matter, no business should pick and choose who gives them their business... one persons money is as good as the next! if you were a sewer worker, would they say "no, sorry.. you are not the clientele we wish" ?????? name and shame I say!!! xx
CommentAuthorcally
Well done, I havn't been on here for a while and thought I would just have a little catch up. I hope you can now sort out your Wedding in peace and in a venue that does not discriminate for any reason. As for the tabloids as my gran used to say todays news tomorrows chip wrappings, in other words the bad bits will all be forgotten. Take care and happy planninng xxx
It's great to say i get married this year September 1st 2012
CommentAuthormym72
MairiN30 - yes I indicated that she could afford a nice wedding now given there's been so much publicity - and I doubt it's any secret that the media pays for interviews. There hasn't been a figure discussed on here but papers don't pay peanuts for stories. At the end of the day this wedding co-ordinator shouldn't have done what she did, and got caught out - but they can still have a wedding somewhere else and it isn't as if something major like their health or career has been put at risk.
These things happen - some people complain, some go to the media and sell their story - but they still have their health and careers given the content of the media stories, and will still get married. I don't mean to sound harsh, but there are a lot worse things going on in the world than this.
CommentAuthorMrs P*R*C*2013
I agree Mym72, there are ACTUAL news stories that need reporting, not some harping on about what I do for a living. I agreed to do 2 interviews but the whole thing has developed beyond belief as all publications share stories, so it appears I've done the rounds!
There are a few loose ends to tie up now due to typical mis reporting & twisting of words, but apart from that the issue has closed in my eyes. Just for the record, if anyone's wondering...I'm a trainee counsellor, a part time model & I'm educated to Masters level, the papers have portrayed me as a liar which I'm not! Sorry for my mini rant there!
I realise there is some pretty harsh criticism circulating about me & I appreciate your very kind words ladies, but getting criticised is part & parcel of what I do, it's all in a days work! I'm very lucky to have your support though so thank you.
I'm glad the ORIGINAL story is now out there though, but it's common knowledge that 'sex sells' so the media have to get their 2p... (bless 'em), it'll all be over next week!
Have a lovely day ladies xx
CommentAuthorgeorgie
It shouldn't matter what job you do, what tatoo's or piercings you have i ou can pay for a venue you should be allowed to go where you want. I admire you for naming them and what you do, i it makes you happy then the media can jog on! Maybe i they spent their time reporting actual news people wouldn't get sl***d of in the wrong way! I hope you have a fab wedding and stuff the people who don't want you at their venue x
CommentAuthornatalie2614
The end of the day the email was sent based on your h2bs piercings before they found out about your background. The press always look for dirt, and I'll be the first to admit the paper I read didnt shed a fantastic profile of you. However they still shouldnt discriminate for the line of work you have, like you say you're well educated and this would have come across on the visit to them. Well done for getting your story out there, and fighting back against the horrible people that wanted to ruin your big day.
Enjoy wedding planning now that the dust can settle too! xx
