Im meeting one of my best friends tomorrow for lunch and im gonna ask her to be one of my BM's!! I hope she says yes!!! Dont know what i will do if she says no!! Any advise on how to word the question!?

I asked my best freinds yesterday, and fortunatly they both said yes! I asked them when we were out in the pub for lunch, my words were " got a question to ask you? would you like to be my bridesmaid?" simple words and they were both over the moon, and one even cried!!

i didnt ask mine, im only having my sister as moh and my words to her were :
"so me and dan have set a date for the wedding, october the 3rd and you are my maid of honour!" which she replied to ok

I cried when my SIL-to-be asked me to be her Bridesmaid! My H2B's brother is getting married to her in October and i am bridesmaid and H2B is best man, then we get to swap roles in October next year!! lol Its the boys parents i feel sorry for with their 2 sons getting married within a year of each other!!

Why would anyone say no, it's such an honour. I have been asked to be BM this August, it's my first time and I'm so excited!! Plus I love helping the bride with the wedding bits and bobs. I have spent so much time researching my own and have so many ideas in my head I like to share the love ; )

I agree with u neen, she is so helpful as well, she is the friend who is insisting on getting us an engagement cake, i love her to bits and i know she will always be there for me, she is so organised! And it helps that she is a make up consultant so she has already told me she is doing my wedding make up!!! x
