    Whats everyone having? Ive seen loads of really nice silk/artificial flowers that are a really good price but at the same time i do love real flowers. Ive not researched the cost of real flowers yet, im guessing there more expensive?

    i origionally wanted calla lilies but they seem to be everywhere so i went for sunflowers so they might not be readily availible in june :S

    they are at the maximum mid to late summer so august and september but obviously they are availible they just might cost more in june

    think it depends on what flowers you want and what time of year you are getting married.

    i am unsure what to do at the moment as i want roses - but not sure how real ones would last for the whole day. may go to a florist and ask how they would make a bouquet and what they do to preserve them.x

    I'm having both - real for bouquets, buttonholes, corsages and toptable. Fake on my table centres (mainly cos I'm using teddies and that way they'll last forever.)

    I made my bouquet out of ribbons. It was really unique and will last for ever. The ribbons give it a softer look then the silk flowers. As it was such a success I am thinking about making them for other people so wondered if they would be something people would be interested in. They can be made to peoples colour scheme and can have diamontes, beads, crystals, feather, buttons and allsorts of things that you want in them. Please check out my bouquet in the photo album :-)

    For me it had to be real. Nothing beats the feel, the smell and the freshness of sunflowers.

    And sunflowers have been out in the shops since early June.

    There was sun flowers at a wedding i saw in mid june (it was at the venue i was looking at) they were really good, 2-3 in tall stems!
    Im going real, using bouquet as centre pieces, then pressies!!!! 3 in 1
