i have mentioned about this before but its getting ridiculous now, i am putting on weight at a really fast pace. i am 5 ft 3" was 9st, my perfect wieght so the doctor told me was 9 and a half. in the past 11 weeks i have gained and stone and a half!!!!!!!!!! i am actually gobsmaked as i am doing more excersise and eating more healthy. I new i would gain a bit of weight with the injection, and as i have stopped smoking my appetite has gotten better but im not snacking and have kept a food diary wich the doctor says is fine. i am really not impressed, if the weight was all evenly distributed i wouldnt mind as much but i have litterally got the hugest love handles (lmao) ever!!!!!!!!!! it seriously looks like i have a beer belly on my back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why do women need to have fat on the back of their hips???? really getting beyond a joke now hmppppphhhhhhhhh xx

i had trouble when i was the injection too, and gained weight, but then i have gained it taking the pill too!! : (
maybe the exercise that you have been doing has toned the muscles aswell, and as muscle is heavier thats why it seems a lot!!
    xxx

the merina is fab i fink it lasts 5 years but i not 100% sure. its supposed to be as reliable as bein sterilised. they told me it takes around 6 months to settle and that i wud bleed until it settled but mine took just under a year to settle and it was just more irregular spotting rather than a full period and it was worth it cos i get nothing now.

i had the implant and had a constant rash over the area it was put in, so i had it taken out. i think i may try the injection for one more round then if i keep putting weight on i will go for the mariner. not to keen on having things poked up me though lmao xxxx

I have the Mirena - in fact am on my 4th as have been using them for so long! The way I see it is that I experience a few seconds of discomfort for 5 years of no hassle! My bleeding is regular and virtually nothing - I use a few pantie liners now a month and that's it - no hassle or stress!
