Keep on at them... Even if it was too early they could at least have the courtesy to ring u bk n tell u, besides most places are taking bookings that far in advance... Could u perhaps go down there in person?x

I would suggest you go down in person. We needed to put notice in at our local church and they don't answer phones or emails so just popped in for a Sunday service and had a chat with the vicar after the service and all sorted xxx

You'd think you'd be able to put more faith in them (no pun intended lol) rather than stressing u out that u might not get the church...it doesn't take much to pick up a phone their end does it x

hi hun. i don't know if all churches are the same... but my mum & dad both 'work' at the local church, my dad is the caretaker/committee chairman and my mum is the co-coordinator so she takes bookings for people who want to hire the hall etc, as it's volunteer it is worked around their own lives so do bear that in mind as to why they may not be getting back straight away. I doubt you'd get anywhere going down to the church, because it's unlikely that they'd just be there. Unless you popped down on a sunday and went to service and then afterward (does your church do a tea and biscuits after?) ask the vicar to point you to whomever is the coordinator. xx

Our church was the same really hard to get hold of... Some churches might think it's too early to yours yet tho coz we had that too!

Our church has an 'open church' on a Saturday, and this is when their parish office opening hours are. Try looking on the website for the church for something similar, most churches seem to have a set time each week for this sort of thing where someone will have a file of forms and prices and diary for dates.
