Its my hen do on Saturday and I can't quite get my head around it.
Its really strange to think its actually my hen do, people have planned it for me, its a weekend about me and no one else and its been planned because I am getting married.
It really is surreal and I actually get a bit emotional about it!
Did anyone else who has had their hen do or have their hen do coming up felt like this?

Make sure you enjoy yourself that's the main thing. I had that feeling when i picked out my dress it suddenly hit me I was actually getting married and felt more real. Even though my hen do will be ages away just talking about it seems strange Hope you have fun x

I've not felt like this about anything, even when I was stood in front of the mirror in my wedding dress on Tuesday and when she said to me I can pick my dress up next week it didn't make me feel like "oh my god I'm getting married" This is the first time this evening that I've actually thought "wow, I'm having a hen do and thats because I get married in two weeks" lol Really weird! I know I'm going to have a great time, I can't wait now its just such a weird feeling lol xx

I am not close enough to feel that but I have had the excitement building when we have done a few major things.. Like booking registry office was a big OMG moment... Choosing our wedding rings and seeing our wedding date on the order form... A few of our family and friends calling to ask for certain details for booking time off, booking flights etc.
Enjoy the moment :) between now and your day they will come more and more!
Got married 27th June and blessed on July 5th 2012
Finally Mrs M :3
Love, love... Here we are.

If I'm honest, I was a bit 'not bothered' by the whole hen thing. I ended up arranging it as when it needed to be sorted my BM had some stuff going on with both her partents being in hospital. Tehre was so much to take into consideration, including the fact that some of my friends had just bought houses/were being made redundant/were in cr@ppy jobs so they didn't have a lot of money. I found it really stressful. Don't get me wrong, when I was there, with my girls, I had a great time, but I didn't get any feeling of excitement beforehand :(
Have a wonderful time and let them treat you like a queen! Hx
Vegas baby!

Oh Heather, that is such a shame you had to plan it yourself but at least you could plan it your way an do exactly what you wanted! And you enjoyed it in the end, thats what matters xx
I'm sure other people will feel like this too, I can't be the only one lol
Thanks ladies, I'm sure I'm going to have a great time

Have a fab time hun. You're lucky to have people plan that all for you. I didn't have one, cos as well as not bothering to plan mine, my friends couldn't be bothered to make time to come to one either. Grrrrrr!
