I thought I'd try on my wedding shoes this evening and have gone to get them. They're not there!
They were in the bottom of my son's wardrobe, he has shown them to some of his friends and then put them back and now they have disappeared.
I have had the house upside down and cannot find them anywhere.
Not wishing to jump to conclusions but it would appear that one of his mates has 'borrowed' them.

He is nearly 17 and gay, 99% of his friends are girls, that explains why they would be interested in my shoes and I think 'borrowed' as a polite way of stolen.

He has found out who took them, they will be back today.
I have lots of shoes, many that I don't wear. She didn't realise they were my wedding shoes, she thought because they were in the back of his wardrobe and I don't wear them that I wouldn't even realise they had gone.
She going to bring them back and apologise, I'm leaving him to deal with her.

Except for the apology, she won't be coming in the house again. Scott's already told her. She'll be lucky if he speaks to her again. She was a good friend of is but he can't believe that she would do this. That's why I'm letting him deal with this. Anything I do will not be as bad as her losing him as a friend. She is NOT getting off lightly.

You are very lucky that you got them back. Its good to see that your son has made every effort to support you though so its not all bad. At least he knows what a thieving little cow bag she is. I don't care if she thought that no one would notice them gone stealing is stealing. If she thought that you wouldn't wear them why didn't she come and ask you if she could have them or buy them off you?

I guess they must be lovely shoes if she thought they were good enough to steal. ;0)
