I thought I'd try on my wedding shoes this evening and have gone to get them. They're not there! They were in the bottom of my son's wardrobe, he has shown them to some of his friends and then put them back and now they have disappeared. I have had the house upside down and cannot find them anywhere. Not wishing to jump to conclusions but it would appear that one of his mates has 'borrowed' them.
Got married 11/11/11.

Ooooer how strange for little boys to play with shoes. Hope you find them soon. x x
CommentAuthorpanther_87k
why would one of his mates borrow your shoes?? or do you mean borrowed without planning to return them? hope they turn up xx
CommentAuthorkrisw86
id ask ur son about it. he may be able to ask his friends about it. and as they ur wedding shoes they not gonna be cheap. id get it sorted asap hun x
CommentAuthorMrs Brakes
He is nearly 17 and gay, 99% of his friends are girls, that explains why they would be interested in my shoes and I think 'borrowed' as a polite way of stolen.
ahh right, soory jumped to conclusions myself there! just ask him about it, then he can ask his friends, not like they can wear them without any one realising

He has found out who took them, they will be back today. I have lots of shoes, many that I don't wear. She didn't realise they were my wedding shoes, she thought because they were in the back of his wardrobe and I don't wear them that I wouldn't even realise they had gone. She going to bring them back and apologise, I'm leaving him to deal with her.

WEATHER SHE DIDNT REALISE YOU WORE THEM OR NOT, THATS NO EXCUSE AND IS STILL STEALING.............YOUR LETTING HER OFF VERY LIGHTLY IN MY OPINION......SHE WOULD BE BANNED FROM MY HOUSE!

CommentAuthorpanther_87k
surely when your son was showing them off to his mates he said they were your wedding shoes? sounds like an excuse to me
CommentAuthorMrs Brakes
Except for the apology, she won't be coming in the house again. Scott's already told her. She'll be lucky if he speaks to her again. She was a good friend of is but he can't believe that she would do this. That's why I'm letting him deal with this. Anything I do will not be as bad as her losing him as a friend. She is NOT getting off lightly.

One thing in her favour is that as soon as he put on facebook what had happened, she owned up to it immediately.

CommentAuthorXLittleMissMe!X
You are very lucky that you got them back. Its good to see that your son has made every effort to support you though so its not all bad. At least he knows what a thieving little cow bag she is. I don't care if she thought that no one would notice them gone stealing is stealing. If she thought that you wouldn't wear them why didn't she come and ask you if she could have them or buy them off you?
I guess they must be lovely shoes if she thought they were good enough to steal. ;0)
CommentAuthorfuture-mrs-watson
I can't believe she would do that?! What sane person would steal their friend's mum's shoes!? So glad you got them back in good condition though hon :)
