I've just randomly come up with the idea of naming our tables after cities in Cyprus as mil2b lives there and we visit there every year. Our top table is called Cyprus and then the other 8 tables are named after cities.
My question is - Do I need to make a table name card for the top table?

You don't have to, but if it ties in all of your other tables then why not do it anyway.

i think I would make one too, we're having a tv/videogame/film theme, we're massive geeks. We love Doctor Who, so that will be the top table theme, so we're gunna want a mini TARDIS on there, the kids have one each so we can just borrow one of theirs haha
I'd just say, you don't have to, but do it if you want to for the sake of the theme :)

I'd be torn on this as well. You don't need a table name to find your table or actually NEED a sign on the table. BUT It would be a nice touch and bring all your table names together!

We had one as it was important for us to have everything tied together. Also my dad ended up using it as a prop for his speech as our table name was actually the place we got engaged.
I think it depends on what the names are and if its important for you to have the same as all the other tables.

i agree, ours are named after hotels in las vegas as thats where we got engaged. he proposed in the venetian so even though we dont need a table name, the Top Table is called The Venetian and the other tables are other hotels. deffo put one on your top table if it links the rest of them :-) x
