I am thinking about wearing purple converse on my wedding day as although i love high heels i dont want to be taller than H2B on the day. I was going to wear just normal ballet flats but H2B loves it when i wear converse ,so i thought i might as well wear them at our wedding. I was going to customise them with blue personalised ribbon ( for my something blue) instead of the normal laces.
My mum and H2B love the idea but everyone else thinks im a bit mad, and i should stick with tradition and wear bridal shoes as everything else i do will be quite traditional.

What do you all think? Should i wear them and be a bit different or stick with tradition?

If everything else is traditional I'd go with traditional shoes too.... if the rest of your outfit was quirky, I'd say go for it, but may just look odd if rest of you is traditional x

Personally I love the idea, if you wear them all the time then why the heck not???

I am never in shoes, in fact I dont own any "shoes" im always in boots or trainers in everyday life, so for the wedding im gonna be in something that i feel comfy in.....the tradional wedding shoe which will be red (mid heel) which i will take off during photos and a pair of wedding boots that will be dyed navy blue that will be put on during photos (so i can get pics in both).

WEAR WHAT YOU FEEL COMFY IN AND JUST THINK WHAT AMAZING PICS YOU CAN GET WEARING THEM ;-)

i think you should wear your converse if thats what makes you comfortable, who cares these days about tradition and following the trend? be different and unique if you want, you will definatly always remember it, maybe you can do a little pose hitching up your dress and flashing your converse for wedding pics :D x x
