Have you looked at Alfred Angelo. I found too many shades of purple and ended up going for a berry colour but I know they have a huge selection of colours.

My dresses are from debehams and there's a pic on my profile if you want to have a look. There were £80 each when I purchased them. They are a deep purple targeted type material. They also do a shorter version if you prefer.

I got them last summer but they still do them saw them when I was shopping last week and now they do the knee length version too. I had them on offer at 20% discount and opened a debenhams card for a further 10% discount so they worked out at around £80. Didnt notice how much they are at the moment though. Have a look at the website, I'm sure they are on there.

Ive bought two purple BM dresses in BHS they are gorgeous they are much nicer in the flesh (so to speak) In the sale they were £58 each well worth a look!!!

Yay! More purples!! Are you after short or long? My bridesmaids have asked for short dresses, and I'm after Cadbury's purple sort of thing too. There is a very nice short dress on a certain catalogue site advertised by Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby.. And lots of dresses on the bay that are available in lots of different shades... xx

Ours is Cadbury's purple as well :-) I'm matching everything to the colour sample I've been carrying everywhere with me for months for the suits! Mori Lee and Alfred Angelo both do good purples (one grape and one aubergine I think) but they're not quite bang on. The bestmatch I've found is D'Zage, it's completely the same as the suit colour x

I am also having purple. I think I will go for mid length for my three bridesmaids as they will be aged 13, 33 and 36. I will definitely be buying them from the high street as I'm on a budget! I also want something less traditional in style than 'proper' bridesmaids dresses.

Purple is my absolute favourite colour- Id say about 60% of my tops are purple lol. So it was no surprise I chose that colour for my wedding theme (Im even asking people to come wearing it lol) Theres loads of purple out there- its very in colour at the moment. Im sure youll find the ones you love!
