I'm looking at making a few props myself to see if I'm any good at them to use in a photobooth for the evening reception....
Has anyone got any ideas of a theme or what I could make? I've got one idea of novelty moustaches on sticks...with lace wrapped round to keep in the vintage theme but what else could I do?xxx
    Thanks xxxx

Picture frame, that's an easy one just bring an old picture frame lol. Its rather funny seeing people holding up a picture frame in a photo by way that they are in a picture :-)
Do you know anyone who dresses up a lot, maybe borrow a few wigs or hats or whatever from them? Surely your mum or your auntie or granny has some old silly looking stuff they won't mind giving you?

Didn't think of borrowing dress up.... Think I could get a few things together and might be able to vintage up an old chest to put them in....
Love specs n lace collars and the frame within a frame idea xx

Have a good rummage at charity shops for hats, parasols, canes, big beads etc perhaps?

Following on from I'll be 36's idea, why not have a selection of frames, or maybe even have a frame as a 'window' with cute little vintage fabric curtains people can peek through in the picture?

Also bunches of fake flowers to pose with

Do the £ shops do cowboy stuff like packets with hats and guns and all that? Have you got any old Halloween costumes yourself from years ago?
Charity shops is a good suggestion lol you find all sorts of stuff in them! I like the window and curtains one :-) that would be funny cos they have to hold the window frame up with their own hands in the shot just like the picture frame :-)

Best costume I ever wore was Mona Lisa, I simply put on a black dress and wig and walked around holding up a huge picture frame lol

im doing the same, im getting my mams partner to make a mdf board with wallpaper on and a hole in the centre with a frame over the outside. im going to make things on sticks but also going to have a bit of a fancy dress box with feather boas, large elton john style glasses, hats, tiaras, fairy wands etc and going to get the photographer to get a few of these too :-)xx

You could also make a back drop for this if you wanted to. By the way there's a company that sells those beach cut out things where you stick your heads through them but maybe that's going a bit too far lol. By the way I've seen those celebrity face masks in £1 land recently.
