Was so Excited to see my bridesmaids try their dresses on! they looked beautiful!! suited everyone and were sliming and a just a few alterations needed! however i couldnt get a smile or a word out of any of them! so worried they dont like them? i had one there with her arms crosses the other chewing her nails and the other 2 didnt move or make any attempt and looking happy! was really upsetting or maybe ive watched too many films but arent trying of dresses fun?? and was i wrong to not allow -pictures? x

i asked them and i got a small yes! they came out of the changing bit like someone had just slapped them round the face! i has texts after saying they loved the dress and were very happy! but i cant be sure! i loved this dress and they suited all of them was just a bit of downer day really! the one who asked for the pics would go and show everyone and i want to keep it a surprise for the day! how i said no and didnt back down is beyond me i hate feeling like bridezilla :( x

Sounds like one of my bridesmaids. She was really grumpy on the day of trying them on so I text her when we got home and she said she loved them. In my situation I put it down to jealousy!!

As for being bridezilla (most people) only do this once and want to make it the most amazing day of your life and the people that are on the second time round want to make it bigger and better than last time. Can you tell I'm bridezilla too!!!

That's a shame they were like that :( but I wouldn't worry about it too much. If they said they liked the dresses then that's good and there was probably other reasons as to why they were being moody x

i just know if it was me and i was in a vile mood id try my vest best to put on a brave face and be my normal crazy self! hopefully when it comes to the next fitting they'll be a bit more upbeat! :)
Mrs Fountain people are having bets as to when ill have my proper princess pap! quite calm atm! theya re all finding it a bit strange :) x

i Know my sister loves her dress but my best mate isn't massively into it cos whilst she loves the style she's not hot on the colour choice but totally gets the fact it's my colour scheme.

i am! im so excited and im excited for them because all but one have never been a bridesmaids before!! ive never been a bridesmaid but always wanted to do it!! im going to strike it off as a bad day!! maybe ill get them all around for a meal get them to know each other better!! thank you for putting me back on the straight and norrow!! :) i love this place :) xxxxx

Im sure if they say they loved it then thats what they thought! it might of been nerves, or being 'centre of attention' that stopped them from showing their emotions physically... or even though you were loving them and excited they were in them, maybe they were worried about your opinion?

Are they girly girls? I know with my 2, my MOH was a bit apprehensive even though she looked gorgeous! and that night i text her, and she said she did really love it, was overwhelmed by it, and that it actually fit (shes a bigger girl so was really nervous over that) and the reason she didnt look at first was cause she wasnt used to seeing herself that way, or even in a dress. but after I took a photo and sent it her and she spent the night looking at it, she started to relax over it and now cant wait to try it on again... Same thing happened on a night out, she opted for a dress and after seeing photos next day took her a few hours to acknowledge how nice she looked.

Im sure once they see how excited you are and how pleased you are they will soon relax. dont worry about it, us girls are funny creatures!!! xx

its ahrd to explain they arent girly girls in my opnion but if someone looked inside my head would all be pink fluffy and sparkles everywhere! but they arent tomboyish either! my other bridesmaid who couldnt make as she lives in a different country has gone mad saying she cant believe it! shes like me a bit crazy and very excitable!! i suppose now looking at it! they probably thought they were in a zoo being scrutinised haha!! xx i just want them to have a good time and not have to worry! i picked the dressed for a reason as 1 on my bms is a bigger girl and it looks fantastic on everyone

The main thing is they all look lovely, they all fit and you like what you see!!

The reason i was asking about girly girls/tomboy is mainly because if they dont 'do' dresses normally they probably werent used to it! Im sure the fact they have text you saying they do love it, you got nothing to worry about, just put it down to a bad moment!
If you are still unsure, then just ask them outright...
I was unsure about my MOH as I said, so i did text her and put something like 'you didnt seem to happy about your dress, i want you to be honest, because if your not comfortable i need to know, i know I love the dresses, but you have to spend all day in them and want you to be happy and comfortable so please be honest with me as this is about you and your dress, i dont want you saying you like it to keep me happy as only thing that will is you being happy etc' x

I know how you feel hun, I felt the same after a couple of my bridesmaids fittings. One refused to try the dress on the first time round and the other two were sooooo quiet so I came away so deflated and then later the one who wouldnt try it on text me saying she loved the dress!!! Confusing or what!!

I had this picture in my head of everyone really excitable and happy and it being really fun experience but it wasnt like that. It was the start of quite a few problems with one BM in particular so I would tackle them about it and make sure there isnt some underlying issue. I carried on regardless and I should have tackled it but I didnt want to be labelled a bridezilla so was burying my head in the sand xxx
