I'm interested to know how you are ordering your procession. Are you going to lead the way? Are you going in last? Are you having a flowergirl in front and the other bridesmaids behind? Or is the vicar (in a church) going to lead you in? It's early days for me but it's important to think about, and what I decided to do impacts the music, which I can't leave too late because I'm going to record myself playing and walk in to that. I'm torn between leading the way, going in last, or having the flower girl and page boy in front of me. I'm not keen on the vicar leading the way, although I have seen it done.

I am having the flower girl and page boy walking in together, then my bridesmaid, then me and mum. I was a bridesmaid at a friends wedding and us bridesmaids came in behind her and we ended up having to stand on her dress to get to our position at the front of the church. It wasn't good as it was a bit wet and muddy outside!

American tradition is for bridal party first and bride last, British is bride first followed by bridal party.
I had me , with my grandfather on my left and my dad on my right. My MOH and BMs walked behind me

On the way in. I actually quite like the American thing of bride last, as it gives more build up. Plus I went to a wedding where the bridesmaids were stuck behind the bride in the aisle. It was made worse by one of them being in a wheelchair, and that same lady (my sil to be) will be a bridesmaid for me, so it is easier to let her go ahead. The American way seems to be more and more popular; when I was bridesmaid at my brother's wedding we went in first.

I had the American way, my moh went in first, then two girls, then my youngest carrying a sign saying here comes the bride, then I came in.

I prefer the American way as I want to my H2B to see me last wait longer to see me walk down the aisle to feel his gaze heavy on me I want it to be my bridesmaids 1st then me n dad and yet to find out whether we will have to lil girls or boys walking with me and dad or one of each I love the idea of having my dad on one arm my son on the other arm but H2B says if we have a son he will be standing at the alter with him we will just have to see who he wants to be with H2B even said he would have our son the night before get dressed together so sweet makes me wanna start our family sooner cannot wait. If I have a lil girl Obvi shes with me the night before and get ready together =D <3 X
