I cant find a venue that i like, aaarrggghhhhh..... just as well i have a while to go , but i feel like i cant start planning properly till i have booked the venue, some places i like are way over priced, others i dont like the decor, or carpets lol.. sad i know!! Others disapoint in one way or another, and i have had a look at one ant the honey moon suit was a bog standard hotel room... not what i was expecting.... i dont know how to reach the compromise in what my expectations are and to what costing i have available... has anyone else had this problem? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- title of this thread has been changed to make it easier to know what its about Lalabunni moderator

think im gonna have to look further away.... didnt think this would be so hard, n some of theses places that charge a fortune really need to spend that money on decorationg, sick of seeing shabby looking places..or carpets from the 80,s lol.Think me n my MOH will have to go out for a drive with the sat nav n try to find somewhere i like.
What is your budget and where abouts are you? Someone on here might have a few ideas.....

Im the same, i just want it to b perfect and i thought we had found our perfect venue until we looked into the menus. love the venue but hate the food which is annoying, they wont allow outside catering either :-( so what im is to book a marquee online and they will tell you where u can set put it, like a park or field u like then u can get outside caterers and choose everything from flooring, walls, lights, chairs and everything exactly as you want. (and its not too pricey either) good luck. x

ive been exactly the same, but we found a venue we both liked, finally then my friend said that loadsa people have split up really quickly after getting married there, but we love it so will hopefully be booking it at the end of the month :)

I found its about compromise as well. There may not be a perfect venue, but almost perfect, good luck!
