Sooo... As some of you will know, we won a prize draw the night we went to see our venue for a 3 course meal, champagne, wine, chocolates, flowers, evening snacks, breakfast and an over night stay :-) We went on Sunday night and it was fabulous ! H2B's starter and our dessert are 2 of the choices in our menu and he said his was gorgeous and the dessert was to die for !! I wish I had just had that for main and dessert rather than the carvery lol !! I am confident that we will have a really great meal there for our wedding now :-) We sat out in the gardens for a couple hours soaking up the sun and H2B was catching tadpoles from the pond haha.. There is such a peaceful feeling there.. They brought the evening snacks around 6.20pm by which time the sun had disappeared behind the massive conifer tree's anyway so we decided to retire to our room to munch on it all :-) We sat and watched TV, had a lovely bath in the jacuzzi bath and then came trying to sleep... After shutting all of the doors of the room, we realised that all of the radiators were on !! The room was getting hotter and hotter with no windows to open and I would've had even more trouble sleeping if we had opened the door, but we had a really terrible nights sleep because of the heat.. Felt like we were abroad with no fans or A/C ! There are a few minor bit and bobs that need tending to in the room, but the couple have not long taken it over and they're refurbing the outside area's at the moment so I guess they will move onto the rooms when thats done.. All in all it was a really great evening and next morning and we're even more excited about getting married there now :-) xxx

Thank you :-) We're off to the wedding fair again tomorrow as the DJ and pianist are going to be there this time.. Can't wait to see it all weddingy again :-D I am sooo much more excited than I already was about getting married after Sunday :-) xxx
