ive been to hairdressers today and got a quote for hair and make up.
i was told its £25.00 per person for hair trial and actual £15.00 for flower girl hair trial and actual
The beautician told me its £20.00 make up per adult, although she didnt tell me how much for FG.
what do you all think? Are theses prices over the top, in total its going to cost me nearly £200.00 for us all.
in fairness the girl in shop said they will do me a deal if i have it all done there, im just not sure what to do?

Alot cheaper than my make up hon. Sh wants £30 for trial and double that for the actual day. I have not sorted out hair yet...

all bristol based ones ive found want bwt £30-£45 for the trial and £100 for actual, and thats just for the bride, so id say u got a good deal there

I think thats a really really good price! Alot of people I known or have seen on forums are paying loads more than that!
Luckily one of my sisters best friends is a hairdresser and beautician and is doing my hair, 6 bridesmaids and a flower girl & make up all for £30! Mates rates or what!

I get my hair put-up for parties; it costs me £50 and up, without a trial.
So, £25 is very cheap IMPO

Iam paying £25 for my hair on the day. If i want a trial it will be £10 and on the day i only need to pay £15. My flowergirls are £15 and my adult bridesmaids are £25. Again pay £10 for trial and £15 on the day. xx

i think thats good. Ive been told for me, mob, 3 adult bridesmaids somewhere between 450 and 600 ish so far. Snap them up. Im gonna keep looking though i really want the hairdresser as hes my normal one and knows how to work my hair well... wonder if brivery could be in order. Need him really though as he will stay the whole day. However, after seeing your prices im jealous and need to rethink x

Sounds cheap to me too, my local salon is asking £53 for make-up including a trial and on the day, per person!

that is really good hun ive got a quote for £35 for trial and £55 for day just for me but i will not be paying for bridesmaids to have make up done i may do for hair but i think the cost would just esculate outta control if i do that, i will say to bridesmaids if you want the make up done fine but you'll have to pay xxx

My make up is being done by the onsire beautician at the hotel and it is £50 including a trial. My MOH is doing her own make up and the flower girls will have a little glitter on supplied by the MOH xx

I can't help thinking that if doing your own make up was good enough for Kate (The Royal Wedding) then it's good enough for me, but OH wants me to be pampered on the big day and not have to do anything for myself.
