Me and h2b went and got some prices for hiring suits today and for 5 normal suits and 2 with tails its working out about £670. Is that a good price? Seems alot to me for something we are only going to hire..xx

you can get normal suits from a well known high street store for £59 and at least you can sell them and get some of the money back
Hmm to be honest it depends where and what you want. You might find it actually cheaper to buy a suit from somewhere like bhs or john lewis but if you think he won't wear it again so would be a waste of money even if they do cost less then hiring is the way to go! Ive actually found a company that deals purely online that I met at a wedding fair last year! They hire EVERYTHING for £69 per person and have the grooms free if you hire 5 or more and thats for suit, shirt cufflinks, handkerchef and even shoes (for extra) if you want and they come to you 2 weeks before your day and you have them until the week after! so might be worth having a look at............i'll leave the link on my wall if you want to have a look!

Where we went you get 5 suites for the price of 4 just have to pay £6.50 for the free one for insurance. Believe the total was £404 h2b went for tails and everything included just not the shoes.x
We are hiring our tails, think it's around £90, not including shoes :( Seems super exspensive, but h2b wants tails and a) he would never wear them again and b) they are even more exspensive to buy. So we def have to rent. Maybe you could just rent your tails and buy cheap plain suites for the others?

We are having to hire 12 tail suits (8 adults & 4 children), we have had a quote for £1000 (that inclues everything except shoes) which we thought was really good, just shop around hun, some have offers on where if you have so many the groom gets his free x

Ours were £92 plus £8 insurance per suit. Would have preferred to buy, but ushers live all over the place!
