Does anyone know anyone who's had their bouquet preserved? I like the idea and have found a company that do paper weights with a couple of flowers in, or they can frame your whole bouquet. I'm just wondering how strange a whole bouquet might look in a frame though!? I haven't picked my flowers yet, but I think it'll be a longish style bouquet. I don't even know if I'd put it on the wall (I don't really think I'm very floral!) but I just can't stand the thought of my bouquet dying and being thrown away!

Sorry, bit of a thinking out loud ramble! x

I thought about silk but I wouldn't want it to look fake. I know you can get some really good silk flowers now though - might get some samples to have a look. I'll probably use the florist in the village though and go for real ones, but will keep my options open for a while! I'm looking at the preservation website and liking the idea even more though. Booooooo, why do I keep finding things that cost more money ;-) x

i like the sound of this although it sounds expensive. I'd like to have one or two of my flowers in a paperweight. would you be able to pop the details of the company on my wall please?

I enquired about this and they said it was £500 for the whole bouquet which I wasn't prepared to pay so I had foam roses instead. I should imagine the pressed ones are cheaper than the 3d ones they do.

i was hoping to get this done aswell, im getting married in florida and was hoping for a way to preserve them so i would be able to bring them home, i lost my gran to cancer over a year ago she was like a second mum to me and im gutted that she cant be here for my wedding so was hoping to put my bouquet on her grave. think i will e-mail my wedding planner and see if there is anything that can be done over there.x

Ooooo good to hear from someone who's actually seen what they turn out like. I think it is quite expensive, but I'm quite smitten with it I think!
I'm sure there's something someone can do Weemindy, although might be worth checking with customs to see whether they'd class it as bringing plants or whatever it is you're not allowed to bring. Would hate for it to get stuck in Florida. Just a thought, not meaning to put a dampner on it! x

Could you put her details on my wall please? Sounds like she might be worth checking out!

You'll have to put some photos on when yours is done so we can have a look! :-)
