Hi girls, I really need some HONEST advice.
Me & my h2b are planning our wedding on our own, we are also paying for everything (on a budget).

    We have 5 BMen, 1 MOH, 2 BM's, 2 FG's, 1 Usher, 2 PB's, 1 MOB, 1 FOB, 2 MOG's & 2 FOG's.
Are we obliged to buy them presents? (I know that might sound mean)

Do you think it would be really tight of us not to get them anything? (Please be honest).
Or has anybody got any ideas of some cheap (& I mean really cheap) presents to get for them all???

No I don't think so. I just started a similar discussion because I do feel obliged because they are all helping. But if you have no help - what to thank for?

You don't necessarily have to get them anything, but making sure they're mentioned in the groom's speech as a thank you is mandatory. I'm getting my mum and his step mum a bunch of flowers each which isn't much, I have 2 flowergirls that I'm giving personalised bracelets on the day (only £4 each off the bay!) and the BM I'm giving her her dress and jewellery anyway so she will just have a mention in the speech too - the best man is also his dad so during the groom's speech we'll give him something as a thank you but nothing major - basically we're only presenting gifts to those on top table, everyone else, we hope applause and thanks is enough!

I don't think you need to buy for all of those. Fathers I don't think will expect something, nore ushers, flower girls, page boy... The only ones are usually mums, bridesmaids and anyone else that might have helped you out. xxx

Thanx girls, I just feel a litte mean not getting prezzies, but we are paying for all their outfits (which they get to keep) & the mom's r all having special coursages, so I suppose we shouldn't feel that guilty
