This goes to show that contraception in not 100%. I did a pregnancy test last night and again this morning. Very faint line this morning.
Think this might just push H2B over the edge last thing he needs is more stress. I dont even know how it has happened (well I do but still). I have the coil and H2B pulls out mostly... only few occasions he doesn't. Have to go to work now feeling very sick and tired.

aww congratulations!!
How does the coil affect the pregnancy?
excited alternative bride trying to do things our way!
i fell pregnant with my youngest while on the pill, went through a lot of heartache as ex didnt want me to keep her ....but i believed that she was meant to be ...... she is now almost 16 , has taken gcse`s a year early and currently holds 7 at A* & A .
Aww hun :( timing isnt great but it's something to look forward to! My h2b is really not up for having another baby before we get married but if it happened it wouldnt be the end of the world. My mum was an accident, as was my h2b - I wouldnt be here today if it wasnt for happy accidents xx

Aw Kirsty I hope you're okay! Maybe like some of the other girls say it might be the catalyst to your h2b sorting himself out. He has already taken the first step by going to the doctors. Perhaps its your turn to see your GP now to get the pregnancy confirmed. If you need a catch up over a cuppa you know you're more than welcome to pop round. xxx
Big hug x

you should get preggers on the coil and if you are you will need it removing straight away and that carries a risk of miscarriage. What is meant to be will be hunni xxx can't fight fate xxx

I agree, fate plays a big part in things like this. You do need to go to the docs though, the coyle needs to come out ASAP, leaving it in causes a risk of miscarriage but ubfortuneatly so does removing it now.
My daughter was conceived when I had a coyle in place n I had it removed when I was 5 weeks gone. I bled slightly but luckily everything was fine, I have since had a coil in for four years n haven't fallen pregnant!
I hope your ok and I send my congratulations to you, maybe a baby might be a focus point for your h2b and things will improve.xxxx

H2B seems fairly pleased, he said he does want another baby but its a bit early but its not the end of the world.
I am going doctors tomorrow to see the doctor. There is a risk of misscarriage no matter what I do.

Everything seems to be ok. I worked a night last night and when I got home I jumped in bed for a quick snuggle before having to get up to take kids to school. H2B put his hand on my tummy and said 'I love you, you and our babies are my world'
As for the wedding planning we have not really discussed it yet. I think we both are a little scared to talk about this at the monent as its still very early and there is still the dicision to make to either have the coil removed or keep it in place. When I told my doc I was pregnant and reminded him about the coil his eyes nearly poped out of his head. He is normally very expressionless my doc but the panic in his face really frightened me.

Thanks hon... do you know the protable xray machines... do you think they let off alot of radiation when they are not being used. With working in resus recently the xray is being used alot. I always go out the room (and move right across the department) when they are using it but Im really scared about standing next to it when getting the patient ready.
I need to do some reading into nursing while pregnant as Im not sure what I should be doing, I know lifting is a no no but not sure what else I need to not do....

Well my doctor has not been very helpful and has just refered me on to a consultant he said he cant advise me on this problem. So god knows how long I need to wait for this appointment.
I cant remember if cramps were normal at this stage. I know some cramping iis normal but these get really bad if I move about.

I havent a clue how far I am. I dont remeber the date of my last period. I think it was either in the last week of july or first week in Aug. I had some brown spotting which didnt last long and the doc said its normal. I walked to school 3 times yesterday and by the last time my tummy was really sore.... weathers far to nice to drive everywhere. I will just take it easy.

Hi Kirsty, since you work in a hospital can you not ask one of the consultants there. I'm sure they would have a little chat with you about it if you asked nicely and it would no doubt put your mind at rest. What you h2b said though was lovely, I hope it all goes well. Big hugs sent your way xx

Excellent hope all goes well for you - have you thought about those digi pregnancy tests? I know you know you're pregnant, but some of the blue ones have an indicator which tells you how many days/wks you are if you still want to know? Would be good for planning purposes!
CommentAuthorOct12bride86
The lady that did the scan said it was about 7 weeks and that was on Wednesday....
Apparently the coil was faulty..... I have no idea what that means or what was wrong with it but the consultant said it didnt look right..........
