Just been away for the weekend to see one of my bridesmaid and although I had my suspicions she has confirmed that she is 8weeks gone. she is already having a difficult time and has gone up2 cup sizes. she will be 4months by the time the wedding comes about butI have already got her dress and both my mum and I dont think she is going to get in it. what do I do???? am worried as I think she is going to have a rough ride and she is due to do my hair and make up aswell. I dont want to push her out or anything but I just dont know what to do or suggest.x

Get her to try it on and see how it fits. She shouldn't have too much of a bump between 14 and 16 weeks. My friend's wife is pregnant and only really started to show after 20 weeks, though I suppose she did look a bit podgy for a couple of weeks. Anyway, just have a chat with her. For all you know she might have thought about it too.

yeah she has said she feels like she will look a little frumpy along side my other bridesmaids(2x size 8 and 1x size10).I think I might give her a week or so to see if all settles sown and go from there!!! 6 weeks to go, why isnt it plain sailing!!!!!!x

I know, I am so excited for them both and ope it all goes ok as she as already been having problems and I have said if she wants to get changed after the wedding itself and photos then that is fine and I understand so maybe I should stop being a worry wart and let her get on with it and we can see what happensI guess x

aww bless her she must be worried herself about it all you could do is talk to her and explain you cant afford another dress and she can try on a cpl of days before to see if she feels comfy? xx

hello I was bridesmaid for my friend 4 months after having my daughter, and altho i tried to fit into my bridesmaid dress i couldnt!! i had the largest size it was available in, so we bought the matching wrap and had a seemstress fit it into the side of the dress. ..... it was fine,my arm covered alot of the stictching but it was alot better than it could have been!!
good luck, weigh up all the possible options and i hope u sort it.! the friend i was bridesmaid for is now goin to be my bridesmaid in april, and has already told me they are trying for a baby lol! so i could have the same probs again!

Could a panel be put in either side in a way which would accentuate her bump? Rather than her feeling frumpy - could her bump not be 'framed' so she could show it off and be obviously pregnant? x

i would speak to her and see what she says. she may just fit in it and at 4 months she shouldnt be feeling so rugh by then. my sister was a bm for my brother when she was just over 3 months and her dress is still fitted even tough she had put on weight and she didnt feel too good xx
