i have been been wondering whether to post this or not but decided in the end to do it.
i have been feeling not myslef for about a week now. i have been getting really sharp, period like pains in my stomach so at first thought it was that but i still havnt come on so its not that!

i have been feeling slightly sick aswell. my belly just doesnt feel normal! and on wed i had theis really horrible taste in my mouth.

i am on the non hormonal coil and have had it since dec. i then had to take norestrinone (sp) tablets for week in jan. i had a bleed after that but no period since but not sure whether it is because my body is messed up or not.

the other thing stopping me i thought it is extremely unlickly to get pregnant with the coil?

not sure what to do.

i wud def test. uve got quire a few symtoms. was the taste in your mouth metallically???? coz thats quite an obvious symptom..i know u have the coil but theres always a chance. xx

not really sure what sort of taste it was...just a really horrible one! had it yesterday very quickly aswell. not something i have had before and both times it was after i had eaten.

i am not sure how late i am that is the problem.

i had the coil fitted on dec 13 and was bleeding after that for a week or so.
had a period on dec 29 and then after that i kept spotting so want on noresterine (sp) and had a withdrawel bleed after i finished them but havnt had a period since then so hard to know when i am due on xx

Only a test will tell you either way & like others have said will put your mind at rest. Good luck & keep us updated xx

its not going to hurt to take the test better then worrying.
im on the non hormonal coil too its taken months to settle down made me feel weird for ages really messed with my body ive put up with it for almost a year and im starting to feel normal again now x

maybe it is just my coil then mrsb2b. didnt manage to get a test at lunch so will on the way home xx

i waited a month for my period to arrive....it didnt!now my little girl is nearly 3 lol i would do one just to see, no harm in seeing, but wait until the morning to do one as that is when they work best :)) hope you get the answer your looking for xx

does it feel like you've bubbles popping in your belly?or is it uncomfy to lie on your belly at night?xx

definitely do a test that makes total sense!i knew deep down straight away i was pregnant but kind of ignored it...silly really, was abit in denial. i found after about a month of being pregnant it was uncomfy to lie on my belly at night and it felt like i had butterflies/bubbles popping in my belly and it was quite tender to touch too x

when you going to do it? they may just be symptoms of heving the coil recently fitted (although i have no clue about the coil) but they do sound like pregnecy symptoms. xx

Sadly I know quite a few people that have caught with the coil, both hormonal and non hormonal. Go and get a test, as for the rest of what you are saying sounds a little too classic for me so put your mind at rest xx

definatly do a test hun, i had all those symptoms and was thinking i wont be pregnant so soon after stopping the pill and everything then was a week late for period and found out 2 weeks ago that im pregnant. i had tender boobs and they felt hard, couldnt sleep on belly, felt this popping and gargling and twitching sensation in my belly, felt tired all the time, felt sick all day, and now im 8 weeks pregnant.

i defo think you should go for test asap, or wait til your a week late and it will be more likey to come back positive unless your using condoms or withdrawal or the arm implant, but defo signs that your pregnant, x x

yea i am going to do one. going to get one tonight if i can bothered to go back out otherwise will do it tomo. sounds like quite a few people have got pregnant on the coil! xx
