i phoned my docs and asked for an appointment with the nurse to get my coil checked to make sure it hasnt moved but the receptionist said as it wasnt put in there she doesnt think i can have it checked there! said can you hold 5 mins later was still waiting so had to hang up!

why difference does it make if it was fitted there or not? xx

FFS! This really annoys me. You're in pain, you need medical attention but 'it's not our problem as you didn't see us inthe first place'! Rubbish. You're their patient, so surely that's exactly where you should go! Do you have an Emergency Gynae Unit in your local hospital? If so, go there, or else you may need to go to a&e. Was the coil fitted at Family Planning Clinic? Hx

it is really annoying me to heather. yea i had it fitted in family planning clinic. if i wanted it done at my doctors i had to wait 7 weeks because it was christmas and the nurse was off work and then the doctor was off so they told me to go to family planning as the wait was only 2 weeks. i dont think there is one at my local hospital so am not sure whether the hospital will be able to take it out. am guessing they would. have just taken some feminax for period pain so hoping i will feel better soon xx

I find that exercise really helps my ladies pains. I knwo it's probably the last thing you feel like doing but the pain are cramps and gentle exercise can help tease out the cramping muscles. It will also raise your natural endorphine levels which is a natural painkiller too. Or you could try a hot water bottle, maybe?
It's odd your GP surgery won't touch you. I know it's not exactly the same, but I had my implant fitted at the FPC and my GP's had no issues with removing it. Odd. Hope you're feeling better soon lovely HX
