Hi Ladies! (and gents!)

Just working on a check-list for Power Users which will include all the things that need to be done on the big day!
The list would be splitable into sections which could for instance be handed to H2B, Best Man, MIL etc, example below!

This would by default include a bunch of usefull things on it which could be either deleted if not required or amended to suite.

The below example is to give you an idea of what it might include, but I think you have a better idea of what it should include!!!!

Has anyone got any good tips or ideas of what it should have? Maybe you have such a checklist already and would be willing to share some of those things NOT to forget!

19:00 Take cat to the catery for a few days - she hates parties!
20:00 Set alarm clock/watches and phones to get us up at 7am!
20:00 Check with Best Man that he's Set alarm clock/watches and phones to get them up at 7am!

THINGS FOR MY BEST GIRLY
07:00 Check with Best Man H2B is up and awake!

THINGS FOR ME
07:00 Do hair
07:10 Do Make-up
07:20 Wear blue garter! ;)
07:30 Wear frilly undies
09:00 put on dress
09:20 dont forget borrowed veil!
10:00 Leave for Church!

THINGS FOR BEST MAN
07:00 Get H2B Shaved and Dressed
08:00 Make sure all wearing Button Holes
08:30 Make sure H2B only has small glass of Plonk!
09:00 Check cars are coming
09:10 Make sure H2B is awake!
09:30 Check you have rings!
10:00 Leave for Church!

THINGS FOR H2B
07:00 Make sure shaved and hair done
07:30 Have good breakfast before getting dressed!
10:00 Leave for Church!

Modmother Stacey did an awesome checklist its floating around the forum somewhere and that was the one i used all the way through so if that could be adapted then i think it will be a winner xxxxx

07:30 Get up, have small nutritious breakfast
08:10 Shower
08:30 Get Dressed
08:45 Check Emergency kit & pack up files
09:00 Leave for church
09:30 Bride & Bridesmaids have their hair done
10:00 Arrive at church, Verify that the seating is in order; check all special requirements have been met
10:10 Check temperature of church & adjust thermostat if necessary
10:15 Check all lights are in working order
10:15 Check cleanliness of restrooms
10:25 Have all special requirements been met? ie candles? Alter Arrangements?
10:30 Leave for Brides home
11:00 Bride & bridesmaids have their makeup done
11:00 Check Bride is ok is everything going to plan? Ease last minute nerves
11:30 Leave for Reception Venue
11:45 Groom starts dressing
12:00 Bride & Bridesmaids have light snack
12:00 Groom should be dressed
12:00 Final decorating/ Flowers to church
12:00 Car arrives for Groom & Groomsmen
12:15 Leave for Church
12:15 Photographer arrives at Brides home
12:15 Bride & Bridesmaids to dress in their gowns
12:15 Flower girl/ Ring bearer arrive to join bridal party
12:15 Groom & Groomsmen leave for church
12:30 Photographer to take photos of Bride at home
12:30 Ministers and choir should arrive at church
12:30 Videographer arrives at church

14:35 Check arrival drinks are ready for the arrival of the wedding party

14:40 check all seating arrangements have been met
14:40 Tables should be set up and Catering staff should be awaiting the arrival of the wedding party
14:40 DJ should be set up
14:45 Guests start arriving at Reception, Music & Drinks are available on arrival, Guest book signing & gifts left on gift table
16:00 Cake to arrive at Reception
16:00 Toastmaster to introduce Bridal couple & the couple enter
16:30 Toastmaster to ask that everyone finds their seats for the speeches to begin with the FOB
16:30 to 17:00 Speeches FOB to announce BM to then announce Groom
17:00 Meal to be served
18:00 Cutting of the cake
18:15 to 19:15 Break for Bride, Groom & Guests
19:15 Evening guests begin to arrive
19:30 Toastmaster to announce first dance
19:30 to 23:30 Dancing, Mingling & Celebration
22:30 Toastmaster to announce departure of Bride & Groom
23:30 to 00:30 Clean up, last guests leave

Wow, I didn't realise there'd be so much to on the day! I'm a bit scared now

Day before:
Check passports are ready and plane tickets
Pick up dress
Take over decs and thank you gifts to venue and leave list of instructions
Ring suppliers to make sure everything is going to plan and they know what they are doing
get nails done
get waxing done
pack suitcases and deliver them to hotel room
double check everyone has all outfits
Check to see if you need to pre check in to your flights (ryanair you have to do this before you get to airport)

Kaya they are creating a new tool for power users... it has a whole load of checklists like a daddy of all checklists!

Hi Power Users!

Have a look at your homepage and you'll see in the Power Users Tool box the 'Checklist icon'...



Click on it and you'll see pre-filled check-list for you! (Thanks Katya for the majority of the ideas for the items for it!)



You can delete, modify, and insert new items. move them up and down the list or create new sections. Have a play!

Once completed (make sure you press the UPDATE button to save first) you can download the completed list as a 'PDF' document, a word document to make further changes on your local PC if you wish, or just view as a plain webpage.



Let me know if you find any gremlins! or if there are any burning items you think should be included!
