Has H2B wasnt very specific about the date and in laws to be insisting to get married in Somerset... I decided to change the date and postpone... as A) I dont wanna go looking for venues in somerset (i like it there but cant be bothered anyway i dont want to do h2b family a favor that they dont need to be travelling at all... and my family has to go all the way...) B) we found our dream venue C) our date for a saturday in Spring was to expensive D) my MOH wedding coming up in July 12 in Sri Lanka (so expensive to get there) E) my dads wedding in August 12 in Germany, only 9days apart from the one in sri lanka F) our venue for october is costing us 2,5K less for excl. hire YAY :) G) we have 6months more to save and probably dont even need much help or so
so we will have to wait 6months and 3days longer than planned but here we go just trying to see the positive side of it!

I think your being extremely sensible. You get to have exactly what you to want and get to save some more money, glad your sticking to your guns about the wedding venue.

great .... its your day and if you are paying for it....you should have what the pair of you want...good luck!! We had 22 months to wait for our wedding when we booked it...and now its just 16, time flies, I really dont know where its gone!! so good luck and enjoy the extra 6 months :-)xx

so true girls :) i'm glad i did it and even my mum likes the idea... also h2b and i decided not gonna say much to all other family members atm as we dont want anyone anymore interfering from his family or mine... well mine keep quiet at the moment... :) so but mil2b would probably still insist to look at somerset venues... i tried giving it a chance but after her accident it didnt happen so no rather being a bit selfish now and postponing and having it there where we want it :)

so true... thats why i'm glad that my mum at least understands she knows why i wanna get married in that venue we picked :)
but most importantly is h2b and I are happy with the day :) dont think my family will be to pleased about having all those birthdays around that day but there we go... my brother has 2days b4 our big day my mum has 2days after and my uncle 3days after the wedding birthday... and i have 2weeks b4 that my birthday :D its going to be an expensive month but yeah nothing we can do about really xx
