Hi everyone, I am looking to get married in Portugal, but dont really understand what I have to do legally? Do i have to get married first i the UK before i go to portugal, or do i have to be in Portugal for a full 30 days before my wedding? I dont understand I thought you could go over,hand in your certificates and just get married ?

I think its 30 days 1 of u must have been resident in portugal before notice of the intended marriage can be given, I know there is alot of red tape like other countrys so google the full laws. I was looking at mexico until i see u have to have blood tests? U could look at barbados its easy u can marry within 24 hours on the island.
