For my engagment invites i have gate fold cards, tied with ribbon, i was gonna carry the theme for the wedding invites but i like these 2 poems, so was thinking maybe printing the poem on the front (even tho the cards are gatefold) and not having ribbon ect, what do you think and which poem do you like more for a wedding invite if any?

Poem 1

Poem 2
Love is a friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding,
mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad.
It settles for less than perfection, and makes allowances for human weakness.
Love is content with the present. It hopes for the future and it doesn't brood
over the past. It's the day-in and day-out chronicle of irritations, problems,
compromises, small disappointments, big victories, and working toward
common goals. If you have love in your life, it can make up for a great
many things you lack. If you don't have it, no matter what else there is,
it is not enough, so search for it, ask God for it, and share it!

but what would you think if it was on the front of a wedding invite you recieved? should i have it or not?

i prefer poem 1, it'd be good to have as a reading at the actual service!!
