Wedding Forum - Poem for invite...

Please tell me what u think girls? I have done it myself. H2B likes it but Im not sure! lol

Stacey & Paul really look forward to seeing you on their wedding day
If you wish to buy a gift then please remember this.
They have lived together for many years, which of course has been full of cheers.
Something they haven't had aot, is a holiday that is sunny and hot!
So they would be most greatful of a contribution to their honeymoon pot.
But also please remeber this,
The most important thing is to have you there to share their Bliss.

its great. i bet it took ages. i was thinking of getting a wedding wishing well for our day

this is a poem my friend has used recently. and i will prob be using xx

The date has been set and we'd love you to come,
To our wedding in Solihull, a long way for some,
All you must do, is decide what to wear,
Then polish your jewellery and brush up your hair.

Don't worry about gifts, don't buy us a yacht,
Many things that we need, we've already got.
Our home is quite compact, we may even move,
Then our storage and space will surely improve.

Vases fall over, and plates may well smash,
Ornaments can break, they're gone in a flash,
Saucepans and towels, we have many,
Corkscrew and flannels, we don't need any.

Don't go out shopping or get yourself stressed,
Don't alter your plans for a pre-wedding rest.
If you want to be generous, despite what we've said,
Then save all the hassle and do this instead.....

We hope you don't think that we're being funny,
What we'd really like is the gift of money.
We'll put it all together and buy something thats best,
As a reminder of our day and our wonderful guests
