I initially thought about a poem, but I think it's been done to death, and I began to think it was tacky. We went down the formal route with out invitations, and worded it along the lines of ...as we have been together for 11 years, we have everything we need, however we are saving towards our honeymoon, so if people wish to contribute, we would be grateful, but ultimately we just hope you can share our special day with us.
