hi ladies really need ya help hear one of my brides maid is a size 20 and im finding it hard to fined dresses that would fit her and my other brides maids as the other girl is only a size 10 i would like them to b in the same but its finding one that comes in her size most of them that i have seen stop at a 16 dont get me wrong she is determined to lose some weight but she has a thiroed disorder and doesn't seem to realise how hard its going to b 4 her to lose it if any at all . i am trying to help her like we have set 2 days a week were we will exercise together i dont mine if she dont lose any as long as she is there she is one of my best mates and it wouldn't be the same with out her i just hope she can do it for her self i no she is very worried about her weight

Hi Have you looked in Debenhams? They go upto a 22 I think and they have small sizes as well. If you can get one in the sale they are reasonable.

i had the same problem with plus suze bridemaids ... i got mine from dedenhams really nice styles and lovely colours.
they do from a size 8 to a 22 i think

my bridesmaid has her dress from florence and fred I think it it they do plus size from tesco? but we got it off ebay. Luckily though she's my maid of honour not bridesmaid and my little girl and h2b's little girl have proper bridesmaidy dresses that are the same as each others. Did have problems getting a dress though I think it's a 20 as well but watch out for the cut and shape as it may not flatter either!

I was going to suggest Debenhams too, thats where I got my bridesmaids dresses from and they're lovely :o) Oh by the way, I was a size 20 a matter of weeks ago, I'm now an 18 and have lost a stone just by joining weight watchers online. I've got a borderline underactive thyroid but its worked wonders for me. Perhaps you can suggest that to her? xx

they had 25% off all debut dresses last time I looked and I know they're having another upto 25% off sale this weekend - if you get a debenhams card you can get another 10% off the sale prices so you can save a fortune! I got my dresses for £57 each instead of £85 by buying them when the offer was on xxx

if you dont get fixed up at debs maybe made to measure ones....i had the same problem, i ended up getting made to measure from the bay of e, cost £85 for both delivered. they took 6 weeks but im really pleased with them :) x

what colours you looking for? as the other girls have said debs is great bhs also do 20's, infact a fair few shops do these days. im a 20 myself and to be honest never have a problem in finding pretty dresses. also bay of e dresses go up to 20 and beyond and light in the box do too. look online at catalogue stores too i got mine from very and they go up to 20, its just what your used to looking for i suppose.

my bms are size 28 and 14, we got there dresses from ebay same color but different styles, but debenhams do have them up to a 22 z

Monsoon also do bigger sizes as I've had some 18/20 dresses from there but sometimes you have to have them ordered in. You could always have them made? Mine are costing me £150 max to be made to measure and they are fully lined and also full length and that is from a local dress maker. The younger one is going to be £70. They are £120 odd in Debs and BHS for the adults and you don't get the choice, colours, sizes that you want and still have to have them adjusted if they don't fit properly.
