We tried an age 14 years dress on my 10 year old BM the other day, and she looked like a skinned sausage in it!!!! I'm really worried how much bigger she's gonna get by next July!!! I'm at a loss as to what to put her in dress wise????
Does anyone have any idea if they do plus size kids dresses anywhere?
Her mother is buying it so it can't be too expensive!

Only option is to wait...I have 3 BM's who are growing like weeds..one is particular is developing at an astounding rate..I am gonna wait and have their dresses made to measure. Have you considered using one of the websites that let you design your own dresses to your own specifications?

My 11yr old Bridesmaid is the same we ended up having to get her an adult bridesmaid dress cause they start at a size 2 or 4 I think it is but even then she was measured in at a size 14 I was gobsmacked thought we would have got away with getting her a junior bridesmaid dress aswell!! Would you not consider an adult dress for her???xx

my 11yr old step-daughter is a little chunky and very small, so l have bought a petit size 10 for her, she looks lovely in her dress and it's a slim fitting dress for ladies so it looks great for her shape her picture is on my bridemaid album ladies petit looks great on her xx

Thanks CeCe, I AM waiting til nearer the time I just tried a dress on to see if the style looked right ... err no!
Her mother is keen to get her a dress from Next bridesmaids, but they only go up to age 16, and to be honest I think she'll be bigger than that by then, so I need a plan B! I have found a girl today that makes lovely stuff, but I bet it's gonna be more than the £70 the Next dress would cost.

Have added a link to your wall Cupcake of plus size communion dresses and some can be dyed to suit colour scheme, may be worth a look. I would also wait a while as at that age her shape will change and she may fit into either top end of kids clothes or size 10/12 of womens in a few months. xx

tbh ive had the same issue, my 11 year old bridesmaid wont fit into child size dresses ive had to have a 18s adult frock to fit her, hence its just a plain colour but has to have a fair amount work done as adult dreeses are made to accomodate boobs which she hasnt got , hope you manage to get sorted soon :)
