Please help me im getting married next aug and the only thing that has been done is booked the church, we have looked around a few venues but dont have a clue where to go or what needs to be done lol. my mum has started making the invites.
I could really do with some help as what needs doing PLEASE XXXX

First of all you need to book the big things like:
Venue Photographer (if your having one) Car (if your having one) Band or DJ
I think for the rest if you search in the forum you will find lists from previous posts of everything you need to do.

make a list and start marking things off. venue and photographer are the next things and catoring if you are not doing the hotel thing

Pick up some wedding magazines. They usually have a 'when to do what' list in them. It is also great for ideas. When you book a venue, have a think about how many people you will be having for the sit down meal (if you're having one), and how many people for the evening. Look at cost per head, what you get for that, how you will transport people (is it walking distance? will you put on a coach? will you want people to drive/bus themselves?) What sort of thing are you doing for the evening? Disco, ceilidh, quiz, games? :) x

hi thank you for all your advise we are off to a wedding faye tomorrow and have found out they do a wedding for a grand so will be looking into that lol, i have been buying little bits and pieces and have got some great bargins lol xxx

Decide what you want from a venue - dont just book a place because the date is free - book it because you love it - barter with people get what you want at the price you want it at and good luck hun xxx
