i am 100% stuck for someone to do my hair and make up. i found a few on goog but it would probably cost about £300 for myself and bridesmaid just to have our hair done. can anyone recommend a good make up/ hair stylist?

I think £300 is alot.... my bridesmaid is a hairdresser so im sorted there but have you tried a hair salon where you normally have your hair done? It may mean you have to travel to them rather than done at home but cheaper xx

i go to a local hairdressers to have my hair cut because its so much cheaper than other salons around here, she mainly does old ladies hair, like a perm and set i think its called. would rather have someone who knows how to style bridal hair

where do you live? im in plymouth and know someone who does make up for about £30 i think. or i know a friend of mine has a friend who does both but not sure how much she charges. i can find out for you though if you like? x x
also how many bridesmaids do you have? i have told my bridesmaids they have have to pay for thier own hair and make up! x x

Mines costing £200 for me and 4 bms, including my trial and trial for one BM, I am having a fairly complicated updo, which made it a bit more shes mobile - not sure if that is too much? I will put her link on your wall and another from bristol who I have heard recommended but not used myself

hiya hun i work with a girl that does bridal makeup and have seen lots of her work and she is really good . im not just saying it cos she is a friend . we both live in bristol and she is really reasonable £40 per person and i think maybe slightly more for a consultation and run through but i highly;y recommend her and she is doing my makeup too . not to sure for hair though babe xx

Check the local college if you feel confident too, also do you know any friends who did beauty in college to do your makeup? i work with a girl whos doing our hair and shes fully qualified to level 3 too... LisaM... Have you got the details to put on my wall? I also live in Plymouth
