Hi Ladies I'm looking for some duck egg blue paper with a gold floral design on it that isn't to fussy but has enough of a design to look good in about 2 inch strips as I'm using it for my invites. I've been to hobbycraft, checked my local craft shop and searched ebay. I'm just now doing internet searches to see if I can find anything on there. If anyone finds any can they let me know where they have seen it and how much please as I want to get cracking making my invites.

In fact, maybe their Lokta Far East gold paper would be perfect for you? It's turquoise/pale bule with metallic gold details!

Have you thought of wall paper?! You can 'borrow' bits to hold against your wall to decide if you like it, why not have a look and take a big bit to use in your invites :) Try homebase or BnQ
Oooo tis lush and the sort of thing I'm looking for. You going to see if I can find another site closer to home so I don't have to wait ages for it to arrive but that is ideal if I can't get anything closer to home. Thank you so much x x

No worries, another possible winner would be dolls house websites. They often have little rolls of wallpaper for redecorating dolls houses, and as most houses are victorian/vintage styled, there are lots of lovely wallpapers with metallics etc!
Glad to help!

That is a great idea! I had thought of wall paper but the patterns are way too big but the dolls house stuff would be ideal. I saw some lush paper this morning that would have been ideal but it was duck egg blue and silver. Very nice but just doesn't go with the gold theme :(
At least I know now that there is some I like if I can't get anything more local :)
Your a superstar!

Ooo that sounds good. We are going that way on Sunday as we need to nip to Dunelm and get a king size quilt. We have decided that a double just isn't enough for the both of us and as I'm the one that always ends up without it we are getting a bigger one lol. I'll keep a look out :)

Ooo Ca ca ca that would be good if you wouldn't mind?
Clarabelle I have been thinking of nailing it down its got that bad. It doesn't help I don't have much strength in my upper body to pull so its not like I can get it back again. I've developed a rolling technique that sometimes works if I can do it before he takes the lot. Mind you he is sweet when he realises what he has done and puts it back over me when he wakes up and tucks me back in again.

Jo I have a couple od CD's with papers and patterns on that you can borrow if you want (use it for my card craft). Will probably have something on there and you can chose your own colours too.

Oh wow that sounds great. How does it work?
CommentAuthorXLittleMissMe!X
I have thanks. I think it could be the only way to do it but then it could work out just as expensive buy the time I get the stamp and paint to do it with. I was hoping for an easy solution but it doesn't look easy at the moment.
