The only thing Ive had people complain of is that they wont see me in my dress, Now I would wear it at the reception but I would feel abit stupid as I will already have been married? Anyone else wearing their wedding dress at the reception in the UK?
After our wedding Ive said that we will be doing a meal and evening reception so those who havent been able to come and join us for our wedding can still celebrate when we get back. Not sure how extravagent this will be, I might just do a more informal celebration and hire a room and have a few drinks/dj. It will depend on the cost and how soon after the wedding we do the reception.

There's a few ladies on here having a reception when they get back and as far as I'm aware they are all wearing their dress or even a 2nd dress for it so those who couldnt join them can see what you both looked like on your day! Just think its another day you get to dress up and be a princess again with everyone spoiling you and saying you look gorjus..................what girl doesnt want that hehehe

I did!!!! I wore it again as we had a blessing in the park and besides, who cares, you're still celebrating your wedding EVERYONE loves to see 'the dress'!
My brother and Sister in law got married in Cyprus and had a small low key reception when they came back. She wore her wedding dress so everyone could get to see it and she said it was great wearing her special dress for a second time round :) xx

the thought of not wearing it never even crossed my mind!!
remember that it'll be like an evening reception when you come home, and you would have it on for that :)
