So my wedding is booked for August 2017 and your typical schedule for booking anything isn't until 12 months before but after enquiring with a few photographers it seems they're already booking up! Being the Lake District should I be booking things earlier!? I'm not local to the area either so it's not like I can meet up with suppliers regularly. What kind of schedules did you work to (flowers/cakes/photographer/entertainment etc)?

Thanks Emily, I wondered if I was just being overly eager but I think I'll just go ahead with everything :-)

Agree with Emily, I started booking when we booked our wedding which was 20 months before, people I now have booked photographer, videographer, baker etc are full for 2016 and starting to fill up for 2017, never to early to start xx
