Hi, am wondering if its just me, my wedding is getting very close but I still feel like we have a million things left to plan and we are not getting any closer to having everything done. I find myself checking over the same details everyday but not actuall doing anything lol. I almost feel like the wedding isnt actually on until everything is paid for if that makes sense. Lots of companies keep telling me to wait until nearer the time to pay, but I feel like it isnt secure until its fully paid, even though we have put down deposits. Anyone else feel like this!?

I get what you mean about feeling as though your wedding aint happening unless its all fully paid,i get like that sometimes as usually when you buy something whether its an item or service you pay for it and get it then and there rather than waiting til its nearly time for it to happen and then paying,if that makes sense!!

Are you worried you have missed something major off your list Kesha? I think im getting married the same day as you and still have a few bits n bobs to buy but all the major things are paid partly for.x

I agree flick, it is highly stressful because even though its YOUR day, so many people are expecting big things! For my family it is the first wedding in 20 years so I feel that extra pressure to ensure it is a lovely day, also because of this, everyone wants to come and we simply cannot afford it, and this alone has caused arguments!

Spooney, everyday I feel I have missed something, people ask me "have you got your ring piller" and I smile and say not yet, but in my head Im thinking oh my god what else have I not thought of! ha ha.

I have a list a mile long and a book full of receipts and nothing completely ticked off! ahh this has been the best 18 months of my life! But once its all over, what do I do with my spare time!?

As my day gets closer I got more paranoid I won't get everything organised in time....

Still haven't had the six month planning meeting with the venue!

Our venue likes a meeting six months before to go over timings, think about food choices, logistics etc. And to pay the next chunk of money. We've paid the money just haven't made it to Halifax to see them!

I think the bridal shop where I have bought my wedding dress from actually hate me! I phone every week to see when my dress will be here!

i wouldnt worry Kesha as my dress is still being made by my dressmaker and I havent even had the first dress fitting of just the bits cut out and pinned yet, so I may be wearing a white binbag to my wedding lol! Of course I would accessorize the binbag with some colourful crystals heehee! x
