Ill start for the beginning.... we was getting married on wed 6th june 2012 (our 10yr anniv) with 19 adults 7 children, but i couldnt wait that long, so changed to 21st Feb 2011, but h2b said its to cold, so now 11th april 2011 (thats book at reg office now)
then we changed to a package as it was same price, 50 days guest 70 evening dj flowers ect included! But we cant do that coz now we need to invite ppl we dont want.... and coz we told mil2b to pick between friends she said they are second class again ( i have big family sorry)
some of our friends were sratched from the list to make may for parents friend.... i cried got stressed, and now we arent having a meal, getting married monday, if ya wanna come watch then please do, but we will get in the car after and leave for caravan holiday all week, come home sat to a buffet party for everyone......
Told my mum, she said fine, think she knew i was upset as i said it was coz of numbers, not told his mum yet, but he said then all my family will turn up and none of hers will, even tho they live 40mins closer.... but is that my fault our big family is close and her small one isnt??? At the end of the day all i care about is the ceromony so thats all we are doing (then party, obviously)!!!
But im peeved off this has happened, ive read so many posts about the same problem and never thought it would happen to me!

Im glad we are doing that now, i dont care what ppl think, we are getting married for us not them, after 8 yrs gether we finally doing it, woohooo!!!
Also ppl that care about us will travel the 20-60mins journey for the 15min wedding and then back again, so that means more to me than having ppl i dont really know or care for there!
Im feeling quiet good now, although i have a headache as we tried for days to switch ppl round and make ppl happy.... but no more, its so good, feel so light, and my wedding will cost less than £500 with suits dresses flowers ect.... although party will cost about £350 with dj, decorations, food and room hire! Still cheap as chips!

That's the problem we too are experiencing, who do we invite, who can we get off with NOT inviting without insulting them. I'm fortunate as I'm from an extremely small family but h2b is from a large family. We have decided to invite the ones we are closest to, if the others don't like it, tough .. their problem not ours! Some of his family couldn't even remember my name and we have been together for 4 years ... I mean WHY would I want to invite them?!!! You do what's best for you and h2b hunny, it's YOUR big day NOT yours or h2b's families big day. They're all gonna have to learn to deal with your decisions, and as you rightfully say those who care will make the effort .... So when is your wedding date now babe, have you changed it? xx
11th april 2011........cant wait now, i did get carried away with making it bigger, but after all the stress and crying i realised yea it would be nice if we had the money, but its not whats important to me!!!
And its not even the family tho, its mil2b friend (who are like her family) she dont want her 2 bros there, they arent on her list of guest....
