Hey everyone been on this site only a little while now. Just to say hi. Been great reading every ones discussions about everything. Helped me a lot. I've pretty much planned and sorted my whole wedding out for next year but organizing those that are involved and them suggesting that they'd like make up and hair done, almost seems like some people think weddings are free-bee partys and that everything gets paid for them, faces say a thousand words when you say i found out a price for them as requested about the things they'd like. As every bride has a budget you'd expect the closest to you not to take advantage but that's when you really see people for their true colours. Taking positive steps from the whole wedding process, i know who my true friends are. However hello to all brides to be and congrats. Cant wait for my big day, bet you all cant wait to. xx zoe

Yeh I've found that too, especially when trying to find out what ppl are gonna sort out themselves in the wedding, especially with things like guest transport, a lot were mortified we weren't putting any on, but I think if they want to come they will get there regardless x

Hey Zoe, I'm afraid although planning your wedding is exciting and wonderful, it can also take its toll with other people's expectations.. All my cousins expected their little girls to be my bridesmaids (6 of them ranging from 10-14) and when I said I was just having a MOH they had a go at me that they'd already mentioned that their girls would be BM's.. It's like errr sorry I don't remember EVER saying that so that's your problem ! Just got to try and smile through and keep your foot firmly on the ground about some stuff ! Congrats on your engagement :-) xxx

I'm def glad i found this site and can talk to brides like yourself. seems the only people that understand are the current brides, i hope i never turn into one of those awful guests. lol but yes.. def think if people want to go they most certainly will be able to get there. My whole wedding is in one place done that to avoid the whole guest transport thing and its a hotel as well so i'm fortunate that way. H2B says dont even stress about it. its our day and you sort yourself out. make the best of it and if people want certain things unless theyre happy to go with the beautician youve got or the hairdresser youve got tell them to get sorted elsewhere, cant possibly have 4 hairstylists in one room because one didnt like the 5 pound price difference. lol sounds silly when its written on the screen but then most wedding drama is. brides and grooms are allowed to do what they want. ! atleast for one day. never understood the term bridezilla,,,, i do now. x

Yeh mines in one place but it's 40 mins drive away with no accommodation....a hotel is a 5 min drive away... Luckily up to now everything else is going pretty smoothly x

wow georgi 6 suggested BM's. lol i must admit i have to laugh off my issues but i do think mine are trivial compared to some other brides, such as yourself. I havent got a big family and only have one neice, my sisters child. she'll be 5 and is going to be a flower girl. i do love the little dresses they do. x also you met you H2B around the same time as me and my H2B got together. Congrats on your engagement to.! x

40 mins isnt that bad, its enough but if hotel is 5 mins away? ive driven 45 mins to a wedding and wasnt bothered by the travel. i do travel to work everyday tho so my range meter probably far extends the 40 mins. i know people who dont drive 5 mins from where i live currently. seems like the world stops at this big roundabout down the road, lol x so glad things are working out for you tho! x

Yup ! I love them to pieces but I really don't want a million people here on the morning of my wedding ! Lol.. If my bro gives me a niece before my wedding then she will definitely be my flower girl, even if she has to be carried down the aisle in his arms :-)
Ooo that's cool :-) I was poorly and looked an absolute mess but his niece who was my best friend at the time had asked me to go over just to get out the house for half hour cause her nanna (his mum) had taken a turn for the worst (cancer). When w went back he was there too waiting for the ambulance to arrive.. We sat and talked about me training my dog to give high five and about games on the wii lol.. it was a weird mixed up day.. xxx

i no exactly what you mean, iv had parents who arent paying towards the wedding inviting more guests (even though were now 8 passed the suggestion maximum, bridesmaids who want 180 pound dresses and nothing else is good enough but wont contribute! too much to mention. Think people think we must be millionaires because were getting married. Now i just make my plans and tell them, iv found that when ur striaght and say you can please everyone because youve got some really fussy people they shut up! lol xx

yes the bridesmaids dresses are worrying me. ive said i'll pay 50 and any thing over would they be happy paying and got a few shakes of the head but even i cant find n e thing i like for less than 130 so it may be me coughing up n e ways. but hopefully will find a fab sale somewhere! yes must admit ive got a few guests i most certainly would not invite but other half has massive family apparently its rude not to, but atleast there'll be enough people there for me to avoid those certain few. you know the type... always manage to politely insult you. but yes i will stay head strong foot down. ive decided when some certain people ask about wedding plans i say its going well, and thats it. they'll find out what cake, dress ,seating plan and any thing else not concerning them at this present time, they'll find out on the day. lol x i love this sight feel normal again rather than some un-normal worrying bride!

Georgi, if you can laugh about the first day you met, its meant to be! and thats mega cute you'd have little neice be carried down if so, i saw a you've been framed vid of a little boy out cold with the ring pillow on his tummy cos he wasnt awake at all! legs and arms everywhere! lol x

omg! id not seen that till u said, must be wrong though its not untill august. Its funny u said that about feeling normal talking on here, my h2b said the same thing last night. Its great talking to people who no what there on about lol. as for dresses, in the end i searched and searched for similar dresses on the bay of e and found some nice ones (after an awful lot of moaning and stress) xx

Zoe I figure that too :-) it was a horrible day because of his mum getting poorlier but I got to meet him so neither of us can say it wasn't a great day as well.. Aww that's so sweet ! Well he's meant to be getting married next year (to my MOH) and then they've planned to start trying at beginning of 2015 so she might well be pregnant at my wedding lol.. But if they did happen to have a baby before my wedding then that'd be great :-) just don't want them due at the time of my wedding !! Haha xxx

haha yeah it says 3 months! lol x yes must admit ive found some nice ones online but i'm not a massive online buyer. and i never fit into any thing first time around so i dont know what my BM'S would b like if ordering. just another stress of sorting their stuff out for them again. i reckon i'll do sales season and a big day of it. get it done sort of thing.! sounds like you've got a v supportive H2B to like most brides really. as long as bride and groom are happy i think thats what counts.
georgi: yes i can imagine it must of been v hard for him, but Great relationships come from those harder times. oh wow now that would be amusing! must admit im a little worried 2 of my BM's could get pregnant no problem with that think its lovely, but would suggest nite bag and sat nav for quickest route to hospital if close to time! lol must admit trying to keep myself baby free taking all precautions def want baby After wedding not before.. already got dress! lolx

Luckily our venue is 20mins from the hospital they'd be registered at haha !! I'm keeping myself baby free too ! As much as I'd really love one, I do want our wedding first :-) Haha ! Have a good sleep !! Mines snoring the roof off :-( :-( lol xxx
