Morning ladies, finally got round to doing my invites and here are just a few pics of the finished product. What do you think honestly? They are a bit different and no invite is the same, but our whole wedding is shabby chic, so hopefully they look ok! :) xx

I didn't know what to do either a while ago, then I went shopping with MIL2b and saw a pack of vintage style paper by V&A with the brads and ribbon and I had a lady specially make the wedding invitation tags. I was going to attach them with ribbon but think they break up the papers well. My MIL2b also contributed some of her different patterned papers as she makes cards a lot and has a vast collection. It only cost me £20 to make 20 so happy with that. Thanks girls! :) x

I had some people in mind with a few, there are 2 in there that are for men so used blue vintage paper with either boats on it or old film posters, blue ribbon and no brads as they are all girly, lol. Now just need to send them out! Cost a blinkin fortune! :) xx

Thanks MrsDadson2b, it was a struggle to decide who to send each one to, though some of them I had specific people in mind when doing them. :)
I got it all from Downtown, the Victoria and Albert Museum have brought a range out of vintage looking paper, brads and ribbon, but a lot of the paper was donated by my MIL2b who does a lot of crafty things and she buys books of different papers, hoards them in fact, lol, so I couldn't tell you where she got them from, probably one of the many sites she goes on. x
