Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has any links or suggestions for a solo pianist to play for a couple of hours at our wedding? We have a baby grand piano in our hotel which would be a shame to not take advantage of and just want a reasonably priced GOOD pianist to play during our drinks reception. We are in Liverpool so if anyone knows of anyone local, could you please post details on my wall?

Have you tried advertising on facebook?? You might find someone who secretly plays piano! I'm gonna ask on mine if anyone know's a juggling stilt walking violinist lol!!

Cheers Jill, will check that out...They don't have a resident pianist and have said it's mainly for show but can be used if we want it. Our venue is the Radisson hotel in Liverpool City Centre so dead easy to get to.

i was about to ask to check with venue it is tuned etc as in crewe hall its just for show as we were going to hire one but we got told that unless we want to pay a ridiculous fee to get it tuned then nope. Therefore, we decided nope x

I just did a normal google for them under entertainment and there are loads that come up. Also check free index as lots of people advertise on there. They are pretty good value and I got quotes for about £200. I play the piano but I don't think I'm good enough to play at your wedding.

Lmao I don't think the way I play you would even pay that. I love playing but need to do a lot more practice. I'm hoping one day we will move house and I can have at least an upright piano rather than being stuck on a keyboard at the moment. If I ever win the lotto I will have a steinway and a house to fit it in!
