Hello ladies, I just thought I'd sahre this with you... I was talking to my dad last night about the things we have left to sort and I mentioned we need a photographer. He suggested we try the local photographic societies and clubs so I had a look n the net and found the website for our local club and through that I have found the website belonging to a lovely lady who is doing our photos (along with a friend of hers who is also a member of the club) for £400 for the whole day as it is just a hobby. Her work on her website is beautiful and she is going to bring us some more wedding photos she has done. We get discs of all of the photos, edited and unedited to do what we like with. She said she will do whatever photos we like and start while we are getting ready. My dad is full of good ideas!!! YAY!!!

I know... dads do come in handy!!! It had never occured to me to try that. I only e-mailed her about 9 last night and she called just after I got home... well impressed!!
we have a good deal but we are not getting any prints we are getting all the pics copyright free on a cd we can get them printed however we please. think it was in your budget.

I am getting mine for £295 which includes 2 DVDs, a copyright free CD, and an album with 30 6" x 8" photos in. I just found this guy on the internet. No idea if he's any good, but I just wanted someone who wasn't a wedding guest to take photos - lol. So if he shows up and points his camera in the right direction, and takes photos that are in focus, then I'll be happy - lol

We also got a gr8 deal on our photos. We had booked a photographer costing £1095 however a neighbours niece is in her last yr at uni doing photography and takes gr8 pics. She has offered to do our pics for £450. This includes all pics taken on disc, a story book album and she will be there from my getting ready until the end of the night. Although we will lose our £100 deposit we will still save £500....happy days, anything to bring the budget down a bit :-) x

Mine's a little more at £550, but he's going to do boudoir photography for me and all the Hens as well. Full makeover, pampering, meal and clubbing for the six of us!
